After a thorough diagnosis on this 2015 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, we’ve traced the issues to the heart of the transmission — the mechatronic module (Y3/14n4).
This unit controls clutch actuation and gear selection for the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and unfortunately, it has failed internally. Replacement is required to restore smooth and precise shifting.
✅ Pro Tip: Always check the external connector first — sometimes contamination can mimic internal faults, but in this case, the internal unit is the culprit.
