🏍️ Dapper for a Cause: The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is here!

on Sunday May 17th, Our mechanic Richard Jowett will be joining thousands of riders worldwide for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. It’s time to trade the leathers for tweed and the racing helmets for something a bit more classic, all in support of men’s health.

We aren't just riding for the love of vintage motorcycles; we’re raising vital funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programs through Movember.

How you can help:

- Donate: Every pound helps fund life-saving research.
- Support: If you see a parade of dapper riders on may 17th, give us a wave!
- Share: Help spread the word about the importance of men’s health check-ups.

Despite the roadworks off the roundabout at the ending Palmerston Road we are open. You can access from the south of Palmerston Road or go in through the petrol station as the access from there is open.

This counts for us bikes too. We often see bikes blatting through the forest, it won’t end well if you spook a horse or come across a cow in the road at night. Between the cattle grids stick to 40 or less if you’re passing livestock. Out of the grids is up to you, if you’re unable to control your right hand avoid the forest altogether.

How much do you want to save my life??? My cousin died last week as drivers were not aware that we could walk out, near a road side, then into the road. Briar died, would you help me survive?

This year has been so bad for the livestock.

So far we have had 47 incidents where people have hit Livestock. to date last year that number was 32.

Gilly is going to break this down to you all. and we want you to read it all and clock the increase in numbers of livestock that are dying on New Forest Roads.

To date:
7 ponies died outright (1 last year) 8 were injured and destroyed. (we don't sugar coat this! the animal is shot to put it out of its suffering, It may have been left there for hours)

5 more ponies have been injured, same as 2024 .
2 cows have died, one outright, and shot.
1 donkey foal has been shot due to her broken hip. (this is Briar)
1 Sheep was also killed.
19 yes Nineteen animals have died on New Forest Roads this year compared to 8 last year....
On 8 of these the cowards did noy come forward... HIT AND RUNS..

We HAVE to change how people drive across the New Forest somehow.

YOU CAN HELP, if you live within the grids work with your Parish Council. If you are a venue that invites people in, make sure you have the right advice. If you are having an event or own a business that are on New Forest Roads, then PLEASE promote safer driving.

Livestock should not be slaughtered because you won't obey a speed limit or wont drive to the conditions.

Sorry, but not sorry if you are offended by our blunt output...

One of our customers is selling her beloved XV250 Virago, we have it in the shop if anyone would be interested in it. Will come with a years MOT, very low mileage at 12,221m and well looked after. She is looking for around £1,800.
