It’s always good to see vessels of this calibre visiting Poole, UK - Anchoright’s home town and a place with a proud maritime heritage of its own.

This beautiful Nadan is a perfect example of timeless craftsmanship and elegant design.

We’ve discovered something about Quinton Watts…

Apparently, he has an angry wrinkle on the back of his head! 😠😂

It seems to make an appearance whenever he’s deep in customer emails, product development or solving the next challenge.

Fortunately, it disappears as soon as someone cracks a joke in the office!

Compacting down the recycling.

Majority of the office and manufacturing waste is recycled through reputable channels, very little goes into “rubbish”.

We recycle from our office and manufacturing.

100% of plastics
100% of cardboard
100% of paper

We also select suppliers who package in reclyclable materials to keep our own non-reclyclable waste to a minimum.

Painting the partitions for our new reception and meeting area... and yes, the black bin bag is a surprisingly effective decorating overall!

We're transforming this part of the office into a rustic beach club-inspired space that reflects the marine industry we work in every day.

A little more paint, a lot more wood and a few finishing touches to go.

Looking forward to showing you the finished space soon!

A big thank you to the crew at Rubicon 3 Sailing for sharing their installation of AnchoRight chain markers on Hummingbird.

Having already used our screw-in chain markers successfully on Bluejay for the past three months, they chose to fit them to Hummingbird as well.

Sometimes business trips don't quite go to plan...

One of the AnchoRight team has had an unexpected extension to their customer visit in Egypt this week after easyJet flights were cancelled due to weather conditions last weekend in the UK.

Although there are certainly worse places to find yourself unexpectedly "stranded", we're sure they'll be pleased to get home.

To everyone whose travel plans have been disrupted this week, we hope you're on your way again soon. Safe travels from all of us at AnchoRight.

A quick café stop between visits to shipping yards and commercial marine customers across Scotland.

Taking the chance to catch up on emails with a haggis bap and an espresso brewed from Colombian coffee beans - an international breakfast that reflects the diversity of the customers and vessels we work with every day.

One of the best parts of being out on the road is spending time with customers face-to-face, learning about their operations and understanding the challenges they deal with firsthand.

Now, back to the next meeting.
