Thank you to everyone who spoke up for us in today's post, and to those who sent messages privately. We saw every comment and every like, and it meant a great deal to know who's looking out for us.
For anyone who doesn't know us, we're a three generation family business, working in this community for over 35 years. It means the people who trust us are our neighbours, and it's why we do things the way we do. Everything is delivered in detail, with photographs and/or video with information and isolation of faults. We provide itemised estimates before anything is authorised, or work is scheduled. We build a clear separation between what needs doing now and what can wait.
We evidence our work because facts are the fairest ground for everyone, us and our customers alike.
Today's post followed a dispute in which the evidence we collated and supplied, including the findings of two independent external specialists, did not follow the clients obvious agenda.
Our response within the post sets out the full context.
We're not perfect, and we don't pretend to be, but we try very hard to get as close to that mark as possible. If we get something wrong, we own it and we put it right. As an independent specialist, our team works across many varied makes and models, including electric/ hybrid vehicles and supercars, often at dealer level. We invest heavily to provide a localised solution for our community, and that hard work continues.
We went through a change of ownership in April 2026, and since then we've made some changes to our team. Part of that has meant identifying and rectifying work that didn't meet the high standards we expect. It isn't comfortable to write, but it's the truth, and it's why some of this year's feedback looks different to previous years. Our recruitment continues, and we're building a team we're proud to put our name behind.
If you've had work done with us this year and something hasn't been right, please contact me. I'd rather find out and fix it than have you say nothing.
One thing I want to address directly. Comments on that post were switched off before I was able to reply to everyone, and some of the issues raised were completely new to me, including a few going back ten years or more. Several came from anonymous accounts, which means I have no way to research or verify what happened. I would much rather answer them than leave them hanging. If you commented and didn't hear back from me, please email me directly at [email protected]. I will respond personally, I will look into whatever happened, and if we got it wrong I'll say so.
A public thread isn't an easy place to resolve anything properly but my inbox is.
Once again, thank you for your trust and ongoing support.
