Joshua passed 1st time!!!!!! 🥳 Brilliant result this morning in sunny Musselburgh from a driver who could not deserve his result more - he worked hard learning to drive, benefiting from lots of private practice from his supportive partner too:) Joshua wasn't ready to commit to driving at 17 and has became an accomplished cyclist and bus passenger- as a driver he certainly likes to get past those kinda vehicles as fast as he can (😂IYkYk) but with both mirrors intact he drove like a pro today and showed his examiner the type of driver he is - a safe and confident one. It's been a blast teaching you Joshua, enjoy the best summer ever - with a car!!!!! Happy driving 🚗

Guess who's is having the BEST Tuesday ever👇................Raynie PAAAAAAASSSSSSSSED!!! And what a stunning pass this was, planning ahead, commentary driving to keep her focus on the road and not her passenger, not just using mirrors - SEEING mirrors, not just looking left to right - ACTIVELY scanning left to right. Raynie has been a real dream to teach, hardworking on every lesson, knowing what she wanted to improve on each drive. As a fellow mum of 2, I realise the immediate and immeasurable difference the freedom of a car will make to Raynie's life, school runs in the rain no more, and a summer full of new adventures ahead. Proud of you Raynie, you wanted this, you worked your arse off for this - and today - you DID this 🥳 Congratulations - Happy driving 🚗

Lily passed 1st time!!!!!!!!!!! Cracking drive today from a driver who had to work extra hard on the theory, picked up the physical control side of driving impressively quickly - and worked hard again on her planning and awareness (wee scare with a dodgy van on the dual carrigeway sorted this one out lol) Sometimes it takes a wee scare to really understand what you're planning for and need to be aware of 🤷‍♀️😉 To Lily's credit her mirrors are now excellent, helping her deal with other road users today - and more importantly, every time she drives! Lily put the work in, benefiting from private practice with her lovely mum too:) Incredibly proud of you today Lily - and thank you for such an awesome 1st day back from holiday for me! Congratulations Lily, happy driving 🚗

Guess who's passed 1st time today.........LANAH!!!!!!! Behind those (very nessesary today) sunglasses is a fully qualified new driver who absolutely sailed through her test at sunny Musselburgh earlier today 🥳 Lanah was very nervous on our early lessons, scared of anything new (going left for example 😂) and full of self doubt that she somehow wouldn't be able to do this.....then 'the click' happened, she started thinking about driving, what she'd done last lesson, what she wanted to improve on - from there on there was no stopping her! Genuinely nervous again today on test day - as soon as she started the engine though, there was that 'click' again and the real Lanah took over, driving with poise, elegance and confidence - even commented to her examiner "you'll no die today while I'm driving" 😂😂😂😂😂 Her clearly impressed examiner was delighted to give her her pass certificate and feedback on a great drive (no doubt happy to be alive, of course 🤣) Lanah - you have the world at your feet today, cant wait to see what you achieve next! Happy driving 🚗

KAYTLYN PASSED 1ST TIME!!!!!!! 🍾🥳. Not only did Kaytlyn pass, she only got 1 teeny driving fault!!!! I am proud of every single one of my drivers on test day, but once in a while you see a drive like I did today - knowing the blood sweat and tears that went into this journey and it makes you just think *WOW* that was incredible- that is how I felt today 😊
Bit of a stressful start as Kaytlyn 's test was nearly cancelled at the test centre as her examiner was unwell (hope they are better soon) however the excellent team at Musselburgh managed to get another examiner in at the last minute the save the day for Kaytlyn - thank you DVSA team Musselburgh from us both:) Well done Kaytlyn, despite your best efforts of being "scared" of everything, putting off your theory....and your test.., and redesigning every road and speed limit in your head 😉😂 - you absolutely nailed it today - impressive 😊Congratulations again - Happy driving 🚗

Carly passed first time!!!!! (Yes, it has been a busy Friday:) Carly has been a dream to teach, bubbly and positive on every lesson. Benefiting from lots of practice with Dad, Carly has worked hard on her driving skills and most importantly her planning and awareness, making drivers decisions and the ability to keep herself safe. To see the girl who got into my car on her first lesson develop into the confident and assured driver I watched today has been quite incredible 😊 an easy and very well deserved pass which clearly impressed your examiner - and me:) Congratulations Carly, happy driving 🚗

Neve passed 1st time!!!!!! Neve had been learning to drive for a while before starting lessons with me, and was already a decent driver - however she lacked confidence in decision making, and taking responsibility as a driver not a learner - we have both worked hard on those all important skills, Neve has taken on board all her training and my advise, together we found the coping skills she needed to develop her confidence in really taking charge of the road and her own safety:) Every driver is different - watching Neve drive today with the confidence of an experienced and safe driver was a privilege to watch - gaining an easy pass from a clearly impressed examiner 😊 congratulations Neve - happy driving 🚗

Megan PASSED 1ST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course she did 😎 Megan drove exactly the way we all should - full attention on the road ahead, defending against other road users and navigating safely - leaving her passenger (the lovely examiner) to do his job of 'the test'. Megan sailed through her road by simply realising the road itself is the test - not the marking sheet 😉. Calm confident and graceful throughout she impressed her examiner and gained her much coveted 1st time pass 🏆 Megan turned this freezing cold, dark and wet morning into a beautiful achievement and a memory she will have forever! Well done Megan, amazing result for an awesome person, I hope you have the best adventures out on the road - happy driving 🚗

Natalie PASSED 1ST TIME!! 🥳 Getting 2026 off to a great start, this girl absolutely smashed her test this morning. Despite the real nerves and worry about potential snow - Natalie drove exactly as I knew she would today - put her game face on and did her job by focusing on the road ahead and navigating it safely. Natalie had a really smooth drive despite her nerves and her incredibly heavy wee feet (IYKYK)😂I know exactly how hard Natalie has worked on this - couldn't be prouder of the driver I saw today! Just in time for new uni adventures too! Brilliant result for a brilliant driver - Congratulations again Natalie - Happy driving 🚗
