Partner, Dv5 engine van.

After suffering a timing belt failure this was recovered into retro autos for assessment and repair.

A dramatic fail on the leak down test, so the cylinder head came off and it showed all 16 valves had impacted pistons

16 new valves, hand lapped. Head inspected, cleaned and prepared. New cam box, cams, rockers, followers, cambelt and water pump, full service, head gasket and all other associated parts.

Van now runs perfectly, saved the engine and got the vehicle back out earning again.

Ford puma.

A rare item these days, and easy to see why. This one like most of them was suffering substantial rot.
All cut out and patched over with new, painted steel for an economical yet solid repair that’ll last many years!
Many locations on this repaired, new back axle bushes and brake lines fitted also.

Full underside and arches in epoxy black underseal and everything, including cavities coating in hot wax rust prevention for long into the future protection.

Brought in for 2 OEM front shock replacements, as always a job done properly and replaced the top mounts and bearings at the same time as well as a wax coating to protect against any corrosion 👌

Then sailed its way though an mot at our approved garage, another happy customer back on the road 🚗💨

Came in for a dodgy injector being stuck open which resulted in 2 litres of fuel in the oil 😱

3 Bosch OEM spec injectors replaced and coded in using our injector learning programme , oil drained and replaced with nice fresh stuff and a new oil filter fitted👍🏻
