Megan’s lovely fiesta st200 we’ve recently had in for maintenance. 👇🏻

We’ve done many things from servicing - performance upgrades and tuning over the years for this st200 but as time passes it was due a timing belt and waterpump replacement, which is routine work for us at GM as we do these daily but this one made me work a little harder ….

Started of smooth as usual until it was time to remove the crank pully (now I will say we see often a slightly seized pully ) BUT NOT LIKE THIS..

Using a pully tool we could see it pulling some serious tension on the centre rubber as it’s a 2 piece floating crank pully . So at that point I knew it could go from bad to worse . So new pully secured incase it’s needed as this removal may end up damaging the pully itself.

Fast forward 2 seconds .. the pully started to brake away and come off leaving the centre piece still sized absolutely solid!. So a few tricks and magic wands later I managed to get it off nice and clean. I will say it again Iv ran into seized pullys before but this one is definitely the hardest/ worst one yet !!

Anyways nice easy job we don’t do problems we do solutions so all built back up and running a million dollars and back on the road within 3 hours.

Mk8 fiesta st owners 👇🏻

Week in week out when maintaining these cars or tuning we come across the common issue regarding the waste gate arm bush. BUT it’s becoming 9/10 cars now.

We do offer a drive in drive out service which we have freshly refurbished turbos in stock that have been repaired and fully overhauled / upgraded by turbo technics , this upgrade adds more strength to the waste gate arm bush to ensure 10/10 performance.

This means… you dont have to wait weeks with your car off the road while your turbo is being repaired and upgraded.

Also to add we can upgrade your turbo to turbo technics s285 hybrid while its bring overhauled.

Exchange basis - prices starting from £800 - turn around 2-4 hours 😁
