Today I’m celebrating 10 years as a driving instructor.

Over the last decade, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people from all walks of life, each with their own story, challenges and goals. To have played a part in helping so many people pass their driving test, gain confidence and achieve the freedom that comes with being on the road has been truly rewarding.

It’s never just been about teaching people to drive — it’s been about building confidence, overcoming nerves, sharing laughs, and watching people grow from nervous beginners into safe and capable drivers.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years and trusted me to be part of such an important milestone in your lives. Your recommendations, loyalty and encouragement have meant everything.

Here’s to the last 10 years… and to many more miles ahead. 🚗🎉

As a driving instructor, one of the most rewarding parts of the job is watching people grow in confidence and go on to pass their driving test. Yes, it’s my job, but the real reward is seeing the positive impact it has on the people I’m lucky enough to teach.

I’m always incredibly grateful when someone takes the time to say thank you, but today really was something special.

Ruby has gone above and beyond and named a star after me. Along with that came a beautiful presentation box, a certificate, some very kind words, and even vouchers for a lovely restaurant.

I’ve genuinely been spoilt, and it’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do.

A huge thank you to Ruby Leona and her mum Leanne Barton — this really did put a big smile on my face 😊

We've launched a new Road Safety Strategy, aiming to cut deaths and serious injuries on Britain’s roads by 65% by 2035.

Key points include:
- tougher action on drink driving
- minimum learning periods for learner drivers
- mandatory eye tests for older drivers

We're committed to doing what it takes to save thousands of lives and ease pressure on the NHS.

Our new Road Safety Strategy is a major step towards safer roads and stronger communities.
