The Scrappers are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in Bolton.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hardworking driver looking for a full-time position with a busy, established business.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 HGV as part of our daily operations
• Collecting and delivering scrap materials
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe
• Loading and unloading when required
• Completing paperwork and following company procedures
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Working safely and responsibly at all times

We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (C) HGV licence
• Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

The Scrappers are looking for an experienced Spanner Man / Vehicle Dismantler to join our busy team in Bolton.

This is a hands-on role working with vehicles, so we’re looking for someone who knows their way around a car, is confident using tools and takes pride in getting the job done properly.

The Role

🔧 Dismantling vehicles and removing parts
🔧 Using hand tools and workshop equipment safely
🔧 Identifying and removing reusable parts
🔧 Working efficiently in a busy yard/workshop environment
🔧 Keeping your work area clean and organised
🔧 Following health & safety procedures at all times
🔧 Working as part of a team while also being able to get on with jobs independently

We’re Looking For

✅ Previous mechanical/dismantling experience essential
✅ Must be confident with tools and have good mechanical knowledge
✅ Own tools required
✅ Safety boots required
✅ Reliable, punctual and hardworking
✅ Good attitude and strong work ethic

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and physically fit person to join our team. The role involves preparing goods for export, stripping trailers and loading shipping containers safely and efficiently.

Main Duties

* Strip and unload goods from trailers and vehicles.
* Prepare goods ready for export.
* Load and organise goods inside shipping containers.
* Make sure goods are packed and secured safely.
* Check quantities and report any damaged or missing items.
* Help with wrapping, sorting and moving goods around the warehouse.
* Keep the warehouse and loading areas clean and organised.
* Follow all health & safety procedures.
* Work as part of a team to complete loading jobs on time.

The Ideal Person

* Reliable and punctual.
* Hardworking with a good attitude.
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
* Able to work in a busy warehouse environment.
* Good attention to detail.
* Able to follow instructions and work well within a team.
* Previous warehouse, export or container-loading experience is an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.
