Great running 2.0TFSI AXX engine out of a 2005 MK5 GTI

Vehicle was broken due to rot

Complete with loom and all ancillaries
turbo has no play at all
Compression was good and equal across all 4 cylinders , roughly 180psi

I would strongly suggest it has a timing chain as it has a rattle on cold start (2/3 seconds), and i would do the timing belt and water pump, clean the sump out and also have the injectors serviced due to no history with the
vehicle

All off 3.2 TTs, MK4 R32s and 2.8 MK4s

I’ve got:
FZM code
GQV code
DRP code
FMP code

All the later FZM/GQV plastic end ones have been to a local transmission rebuilder and had the end float sorted

£450 each.
(+£100 palleted in mainland UK)

These can be bulk bought if anyone in the USA etc is interested but if you’re overseas, you need to sort the logistics yourself. I can pallet them or whatever you require but no more

I can also sell them as a manual conversion kit with the lambda side loom for a manual starter , cable bracket, shafts, whatever you need at extra cost

Little red TT back for some sprucing for one of my mates

Flew through the MOT with flying colours

- set of used Eibach springs
- 2x like new rear shockers
- 2x like new front bilstein shockers
- 2x used poly wishbones
- 2x new top mounts and bearings
- 2x droplinks
- 2x ball joints
- 1x track rod end (did one side last year for MOT)

Car is mechanically perfect , just had a traction light on for faulty G85, so fresh one supplied, fitted and coded from stock

Should hopefully fly through many MOTs to come

I cannot compression test it but i am told it ran perfect, it was a spare engine in case something went wrong with the one in his S3. Selling cheap for this exact reason

to break or not to break, that is the question.

I supplied this dolphin grey s3 to Nathan 2 years ago , down on compression on 1 cylinder but clean shell. It’s has some bits done but realistically it wants the engine pulling and going through properly . However ,

Good bits:
The shell is mint rust wise, sills are straight and nothing more than surface rust, wings , doors , blades are all spot on.

Bad bits:
Ivory white interior, had something on the driver seat and it’s like melted the leather? not sure but realistically it’ll want a set of seats in it.
Driver wing and door have lacquer peel presumably from poor previous paintwork, been like that since i last had it. Since it’s been sat on his drive, it’s got some new scratches etc on it etc

I’m not 100% sure what to do,

initially , throw a known good standard lump in it with a fresh belt and pump kit, new clutch and fresh fluids and sell it as needing some paintwork and someone can put a fresh interior in it

or do i chop it up ? What do we think?

Rear brake pipes have been replaced
Scorpion catback exhaust

Engine, box , clutch etc are all in great working order.

Headliner is good
door cards are good
rear boot trim isn’t sagging
dash pixels work
radio cover works

Bought a few weeks ago as a breaker but too nice to take off the road. Fitted a replacement crank sensor and a fresh battery

Has a couple of small bubbles on wings and main issue is the lacquer peel on the front bumper and some hazing on the passenger rear quarter, presumably from the sun

You won’t find a better 225 TT for the money anywhere

Ready to drive away today.

Very rare colour but the shell is one of the worst i’ve ever seen. there’s nothing left underneath and nearly every panel is scrap
