Sometimes it’s that straight forward and we are still more than happy to help. Little Nissan pixo that one of our suppliers drivers had just bought which unfortunately resulted in total clutch failure within the first couple of days of purchase. He contacted us and we swiftly had it recovered in and supplied and fitted a new clutch. He was back on the road in no time. Thanks for choosing AGC.

Audi a3 saloon dropped off to us with a higher end warranty policy on the vehicle. We carried out diagnostics which also involves test driving the vehicle and logging data to determine the issues this customer was experiencing. We established the mechatronic wasn’t producing enough pressure to correctly work the dual clutch system and change gear. There was also a severe judder within the lower gears. We removed the gearbox and quite clear to see the input seals had failed and contaminated the dual clutches. We handled the process for our customer from start to finish including liaising with their warranty company and got the claim passed. Thanks for choosing AGC

Hyundai dct in today with gearbox / gear selection issues. Diagnostic shows unable to select first gear however a proven road test showed gears 3 / 5 / 7 also not working. Once gearbox had been removed it was clear to see the flywheel weights had come adrift and jammed into the clutch itself. New flywheel and clutch fitted and clutch adaptations carried out. Nissan juke cvt recovered in with no drive forward or backwards. Ramp inspection quickly established the internal belt had snapped causing catastrophic failure. Our customer had an independent warranty on the vehicle and after jumping through a few hoops the warranty claims was passed and we commenced work bringing this gearbox back to life. Vw scirocco in for one of the most common failures for a 2.0 vw 6speed. Basically the clutch face plate fails and begins to score the inside of the bell housing of the gearbox. Given enough time (which btw doesn’t take very long) it cuts in and eventually breaks through which results in total loss of gearbox fluid. Our customer had already sourced their parts after our initial inspection to inform them of the issue and we set about getting the customer back on the road in no time at all. Another Nissan juke cvt in for unwanted noises when driving. Once inspected it showed internal bearing failure. We removed the gearbox , stripped down entirely and clean. Replaced the internal bearing with the latest revision upgrade and supplied new filters (not many know that there are 2 filter in the gearbox). Back together and fresh oil later the juke was back fighting fit. Thank you for choosing AGC

Ford Kuga recovered in to us from a warranty company we are pre approved to carry work out for. This Kuga had let its owner down on the motorway which caused her some distress without a doubt. We removed the gearbox to determine faults and it didn’t take long. It’s was very clear to see the clutch had fully burnt out and wasn’t able to create enough friction to drive the vehicle. Quick phone call on the customers behalf to their warranty company and authorised straight away. All work carried out in a prompt manner and she was very grateful. Thank you for choosing AGC

Seat in with DSG issues which caused the miss-selection or failed to select certain gears when warmed up. Some diagnostic work carried out confirmed issues within the pressure sensors of the mechatronic unit. We replace both sensors in this scenario to ensure a good repair is carried out as well as flush and service the gearbox at the same time. Adaptation of the internal wet clutch system carried out once repairs where complete due to the system is learned and can cause a jolty selection later down the line if the correct procedure isn’t carried out. 2015 vw polo recovered in with a ear rattling noise when the clutch pedal isn’t pressed. It had been suggested to them it’s potentially the gearbox or flywheel. Once the gearbox had been removed it was very clear the dual mass flywheel had collapsed. Luckily once some of the flywheel bolts were undone it popped back into position and we were able to remove without having to spend undue time cutting the flywheel to access the rest of the bolts. Vw have now discontinued the dual mass on the particular polo (1.4 Tdi) and now suggest a solid mass flywheel conversion with some software version to suit. This customer had been recommended to us via another very happy customer we carried work out for previously on their daughter Audi A1. Thank you for the reconditions and thank you for choosing AGC.

2017 Astra recovered in for no gear selection. Inspection showed issue with clutch hydraulic release bearing failure. We replaced the entire system inc the clutch master cylinder for good measure. Customer back on the road in no time. Thanks for choosing AGC
