‼️workshop downtime ‼️

Unfortunately due to one of our nice new Snap-on UK & Ireland lifts being out of operation and awaiting repair/replacement we’re now down to 2 operational lifts in the workshop.
Inevitability this will have an impact on vehicles with us and jobs booked in 😩

We’re hoping this can be sorted asap but please be patient whilst this issue is sorted and any delays caused 🙏🏼

This has no impact to any mapping on the chassis or hub dynos.

Audi S1 in for Oil service, Haldex service and fitting of a new front grill 🔧

After the servicing works were carried out, the car was strapped onto the dyno for some power runs, producing a healthy 313hp! 💨

Starting off the week with some old skool Ford action!

In for a dyno health check was this 1981 Ford Es**rt which started life as a 1300cc automatic and now running a 2.0 Zetec with ITB conversion.

We have another old skool Ford to post soon which is back with us for a tune up after we built it back in 2006!

Today is a pretty big day for everyone at Devil Developments.

Today is our last day at the old unit in Bognor Regis, the place where over a year ago everything changed in the space of a few hours.

The fire that happened in May 2025 brought our business to a standstill. What followed was months of uncertainty, disruption, stress and a huge amount of hard work behind the scenes just to keep Devil Developments moving forward.

For a period, we genuinely didn’t know what the future was going to look like.
Then almost a year ago to the day we signed the lease to our new premises.

What followed was months of planning, building, painting, moving, installing equipment and basically starting again from scratch. It was a massive undertaking, but slowly the new Devil Developments HQ started to take shape.

Then in January this year the doors opened and we were fully functional again and since then, we’ve been incredibly busy building engines, tuning cars, running the dyno and doing what we love doing.

There have also been some pretty difficult battles along the way, particularly with our previous landlord, and unfortunately some of those matters are still ongoing. We won’t go into all the details publicly, but it has certainly added another layer of stress to what has already been an incredibly difficult period.

But today isn’t about looking backwards, today is about looking at how far we’ve come.

Most importantly, we want to say a massive thank you to our customers.

To everyone who waited for us while we were out of action.
To everyone who continued to support us.
To everyone who trusted us with their cars, engines and projects when we reopened.
To everyone who shared, commented, recommended us or simply sent a message asking how we were getting on.

We honestly couldn’t have done it without you 🙏🏼

Devil Developments has been going since 2006, and we’ve had plenty of ups and downs over the years, but this has undoubtedly been one of the biggest challenges we’ve ever faced.

Today we close the doors on the old place for the final time.

Today we had the pleasure of helping out the Littlehampton Lions with a small repair on their van 🚚

It might not have been one of our usual jobs at HQ but sometimes it’s not all about big engine builds or tuning 🔧📈

The Littlehampton Lions do some fantastic work for our local community, and importantly, they’re all volunteers, giving up their own time to help others and raise money for good causes.

So when we can lend a hand and keep their van on the road, we’re more than happy to do our bit.

It’s a great reminder that being a local business isn’t just about what we do in the workshop — it’s also about supporting the community around us.

MK3 madness at HQ 🤪

We’ve seen a crazy amount of MK3 RS & ST250 through the doors over the last couple of months, 7 of these for engine rebuilds ranging from our popular drop in forged package to our DD500 conversion with 2.0L block.

We have some special builds due in the coming weeks for Syvecs installations and mapping 📈

We’re now on Carvatar 🤩

At a recent car event Joel the creator of Carvatar introduced himself and showed us his cool new app for car enthusiasts.

Using the camera on your phone you create a 3D avatar of your car, once uploaded you can then pin details and add comments to share with friends and other Carvatar users.

Another cool feature is the ability to create groups and events, if you’re attending an event you can add the Carvatar of the vehicle you’ll be attending in for others to see.

Carvatar can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store, get scanning and join the Carvatar community 😈

A day in the life of our Fiesta ST van🤭😜

After the YouTube police coming at us for being allowed to enter our little shop Fiesta into the recent Fastest Van series on OG we thought we’d share what the rippers been up to.

Kicking off with a quick wheel collection from Wheel Revive and then back to HQ to load up with all your scrap bits from repairs and then off to the local scrap metal dealer.
Little video on the end from Racewars UK just for good measure, 154.22mph over the 1/2 mile in 5th gear…. Not too shabby 🚀

Even though we’ve been super busy on the Ford side of things we’ve still had some cool VAG stuff in at HQ recently.

Mk1 Scirocco in for dyno power runs, a nice 208hp 📈

Polo 6C GTI for IS38, HPFP and ECOTUNE UK - Premium German Software 📈 stage 3 with Reflex calibrations which unlocked a nice 385hp📈🚀

1994 Polo for mapping, 1.4 16V AFH converted, ME221 ECU, Suzuki GSXR throttle bodies.

RS3 which was in today for oil service, Haldex service and a DSG service.
