Volvo C30 R-Design T5 🇸🇪

Underneath the badge is the same turbocharged 5-cylinder engine found in the Focus ST & RS, one of the most tuned vehicles at Devil Developments.
We’ve had great success over the years developing tuning packages on this platform including our most recent compound twin turbo set up that’s still in its development stages and already producing 1011hp 😈

This C30 T5 was in for MSD280 ECU calibrations 📈
Only hardware requirements being,

• Free flowing 3’ exhaust

This 80s icon was in for ECU installation and mapping, and while carrying out the work we noticed the 22 year old system, safe to say it was due an upgrade!

This past weekend we popped along to to see how was getting on at weekender after we tuned the car back in January this year.

The car had recently been mapped elsewhere and after roughly 50 miles the cylinder head was lifting and causing damage to the engine.

The engine was then rebuilt and then booked in for us to take a look at the mapping.
After an excessive amount of ignition timing was taken out of the current tune we were able to set about tuning the car in a safe manner.
End result was a healthy 300+hp to the rear wheels of this mk2 Golf, yes that right it’s rear wheel drive!

This Golf is now powered by a fully built 1.8 Mazda MX5 engine and running gear, Garrett GBC-350 Turbo charger, Megasquirt MS3 miniECU and yes this crazy Golf is still road legal.
Great to see the car is now performing on track as it should be.

😈 Seat Cupra 290 Stage 2 😈

This 2019 Cupra was in for some hardware upgrades and ECU & TCU calibrations.

Staring off with pre tuning diagnostics we then set about replacing the stock down pipe for a high flow sports cat and a set of NGK racing plugs.

Then onto the dyno for stage 2 ECU & TCU calibrations 📈 = 403hp 🚀
