Business is booming for Whens My Mot, thanks to the installation of the MA STAR 3.5 two-post lift, along with a complete class 7 ATL lane.

Tim Martin said: "With the addition of another lane, we've gone from being able to test 16 vehicles to 24. Most days, the lanes are fully booked up. Another advantage is that the MAHA UK lane is quicker than the other two.”

With When’sMyMOT? recently acquiring another garage, there is potential for the relationship between both parties to blossom even brighter in the near future.

Luke joined us during the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic, which could’ve been a daunting task with working-from-home imposed and face-to-face meetings only allowed on a strict case-by-case basis.

However, there were no sign of nerves when he met Whens My Mot's Tim Martin for the first-time, with the expanding MOT centre needing a full class 4/7 MOT ATL lane and later a MA STAR 3.5.

Tim said: "Luke wasn’t nervous, nor did he shy away from the job at hand. He explained that he was new to the industry and his knowledge of the company’s workshop equipment portfolio was growing.

“Once the order was confirmed, he kept me updated as to the progress of it – when it was ready for delivery or on its way – then we’d exchange text messages, or he’d call me to ask how the installation was going, or if I had any queries about using the equipment. If he was working for me, I’d be very happy! 10 out of 10!”

6-month MOT exemptions will be ending on 1 August
Today, 29 June, the Department for Transport announced that the 6-month MOT exemption for cars, vans and motorcycles introduced during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, will end on 1 August.
