🚗 A little professional milestone to share…

I’m pleased to say that I’ve recently passed my IAM RoadSmart Advanced Driver Test — achieving a First! 🏆

For me, this isn’t about saying I’m the “best” driver. It’s about continually developing my skills, keeping my driving standards high and making sure I’m practising what I teach.

As a driving instructor, I think it’s important to keep learning and challenging yourself — even after becoming an instructor. Advanced driving has given me another opportunity to look critically at my own driving, refine my observation, planning and positioning, and continue developing my overall approach on the road.

It’s also something I hope demonstrates to my pupils and customers that I take safe, responsible and high-standard driving seriously, and that I’m committed to keeping my own skills up to date.

A big thank you to everyone at Cornwall Advanced Drivers (CAD) and my observers Neil and Barbara for their help and guidance along the way.

Always learning. Always improving. 🚗💨
