1980 vw transporter caravelle high top for sale.

Beautiful honest van, very tidy for its age. Tax and MOT exempt, last MOT was in 2021.

Interior is all there, 240V hookup works, has gas fridge and cooker (all pipework present but haven't personally tested), has sink/tap too.

Lots of storage space, movable bedboards to make sleeping space up top.

Starts and drives, brand new 2.0 aircooled engine fitted in 2019 and clocks zerod at same time. I dont have the invoice for it but I have the warranty paperwork present from vw heritage with engine numbers etc so you could probably get in touch with them and go through the records.

Also has the bulletproof single weber carburettor conversion fitted.

Clutch and brakes are good, engine is on the button and can be driven but would always recommend towing/trailer and getting the carb tuned first as does idle high when warm and pop slightly.

Underneath clean and undersealed.

Clocks show 225K miles but MOT history indicates clocks may have been changed over 10 years ago.

Good engine and gearbox. Welded and underneath undersealed. Brand new MOT on the van.

Definitely not showpony paintwork but body 95% straight.

Both front seats on swivel bases.

Dash all there and intact. Only thing Jon original is double din stereo and horn is on a button hidden down on the dash by your right knee.

Rear windows both sides.

Rear empty bar plywood floor.

Good honest van Ideal start for camper conversion.

V5 and key present.

No service history but will be serviced in house before sale with paperwork given.

Removed from a '93 caravelle that was rotten.

Complete apart from crank pulley, power steering pump and PS pump bracket.
