Mk6 Fiesta restoration - Part 1

Customers Porsche Cayenne in for alloy wheel and brake caliper refurbishment. Calipers stripped & inspected, all seals okay however new pads recommended & installed. Alloys virtually black with a hint of metallic bronze & look the biz 😉🚗👍

Old school Beemer v12 in for a full exterior respray. Been stood last 7yrs & mother nature trying to reclaim it was very evident. Rust in usual places was cut out and fresh steel put back in.

Customers 4700 mile old Transporter T6.1 in for a colour change from Met blue to Land Rover Pangea green. We must be doing something right as they've come from Coventry to get the work carried out by us!

Customer's modded Lexus IS 220d #1 in for a crash that occurred early one Sunday morning 🌄 on his drive at home 🏡. Having been rudly 🤔 awakened by the crash 💥bang 💥wallop💥 outside his house, this is not what you want to see at 3.30am! 😴😬😡

This new damage gave way to modded Lexus #2🚗👌✔️ Wish list was similar to before, but with Vland modern front & rear LED lights, same bumper lip spoiler, debadge boot, plug holes & a contrasting colour change for the wheels🛞. Wouldn't be complete if we didn't buff the rest of the car either 😉🚗✔️

Customer's Bentley Flying Spur in for aesthical maintenence. All black door pillars have a level of corrosion due to being alloy, need stripping & repainting. Very intricate job indeed, all doors stripped & glass removed to carry out this procedure. Couple of chips & a wee dent on the passenger side rear ment quarter panel required fresh paint. Looking good again 👌

Customer's absolutely massive Dodge Ram in for front end remedial work. Bumper is iron and made up (what seems like) 85 individual parts & weighs 32kgs (that bit's true 🏋‍♂️ ).

Few stone chips, a fight with a steel ballard & a missle 🚀 bounced off his bonnet on the M way, plus the promise of a full 3 stage detail later by Paul over Wyre, ment paintwork needed some love ❤️.

Makes my Discovery look like a dinky toy! 🤣

MINI RESTORATION- PART 3

After getting the shell & off parts back from the powder coaters, fine tuning & leveling out of all panels is carried out. Once happy this is done & panel gaps are good, all seams polyurethane sealed & the underbody, arches and engine bay are protected with Raptor bedliner. Once cured, Cadburys purple based coat 💜 & 2k cleared applied for a super durable finish.

Mask out floor pan & epoxy prime the shell & off panels. This was sanded back, remasked & high build primed, ready for basecoat & clear. Then onto the engine bay and inner cockpit for colour. Next, this is masked out & moving onto the exterior shell for basecoat & clear. Last is the roof in brilliant white, together with painted bonnet racing stripes to match... she's looking pretty!
