This ECU data was collected from a Golf 7 R that we had on the dyno today

The car been tuned to 99 octane fuel

This is what happens when you put 95 octane in

99 octane has a higher knock resistance therefore you can run more ignition timing to make more power

What’s happening here is the ECU is detecting a whole lot of knocking ( engine crying ) and removing ignition timing to save it

Don’t ever put 95 in your performance vehicle unless it states you can or tuned for it

We’re also here for the “ it doesn’t make any difference it’s a rip off ‘ comments

Bosch ECU unlocking is here !

Do you have a T6.1 Transporter / Crafter / 2.0 TDI with the locked ECU ?

Working with Autotuner we can now unlock and tune this ECU

The ECU is sent to Autotuner to be software unlocked and then we good to go on the tuning

We would need the vehicle for a week to complete this work

The Role

We are seeking a skilled technician with diagnostic and repair experience across VAG vehicles. You’ll be working in a well-equipped independent workshop carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, maintenance, and fault finding to a high standard.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a vehicle mechanic/technician
• Strong knowledge of VAG vehicles preferred be not essential
• Confident with diagnostics and electrical fault finding
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pride in quality workmanship and customer service

We fitted a brand new engine from VW, reconditioned turbo’s and swapped over all ancillaries
