"I chose Blackpool Driving School because they had the best feedback on the Internet. Learning to drive was amazing, I was very worried at first but Paul was so amazing he made me feel so comfortable every time I got into the car. My Blackpool Driving Instructor was Paul Tilling , he was great. All I can say is Paul was great best teacher I could have asked for. He always believed in me and knew I could do it. If I messed on something he let me do it as many times as I wanted so I was going away feeling confident and happy. I have already recommended Paul's to 3 people wanting to do their lessons. So happy I got him" Many Sproat, Fleetwood. "I chose Blackpool Driving School because of the special offer, the good reviews and good first time pass rate. Learning was a lot better than i thought it would be because we got straight into it, where as, i thought you would be in a learning center. It was also fun. It was brilliant worked very well for me, got straight into driving within 15 minutes of the first lesson, asked what i wanted to work on anything (eg: maneuvers) if i was worried about anything in particular, kept the lesson fun, generally all brilliant. I would recommend Blackpool Driving School, because my instructor ,Paul, was brilliant, and got me a first time pass, was really helpful, and gave clear instructions and advice on what to do. Thank you very much for a great experience and getting me passed first time, and a thanks to Paul as well" Liam Anderton, Blackpool. "I was recommended to Blackpool Driving School by a friend. Learning to drive was harder than expected but my Driving instructor Dave Grundy put me at ease from the first lesson. Dave was excellent he was so passionate about driving and so it rubbed off. I would recommend BDS, all the support is great, plus the learning guides are excellent, all the communication, advice, help and support has been amazing" Ian Duckworth, Blackpool
"Blackpool Driving School came recommended, Learning to drive was a lot easier than expected. Gillian, my Instructor, was very good, clear and made learning enjoyable and easy to understand. I have already recommended BDS! The best place to learn in the area from my experience. Passed 1st Time." Ben Everson, Lytham. " I completed an Intensive Course with Blackpool Driving School, I booked them as I believed they offered me a really good deal. The Customer Service was excellent, the booking service was very easy. I was expecting the course to be harder but I got the help I needed from my driving instructor Graham Fogden. I would recommend BDS because the overall service was really good and it's really helpful having the chance to do 20hours of lessons in the space of a week" Alicia Calow, St Annes

Another Successful Driving Test Pass with BDS Driving School 🚗🎉
It’s another fantastic result for BDS Driving School, as we would like to congratulate Jack Surman on successfully passing his practical driving test on 16th September!

Jack has been learning to drive a manual car with his instructor, Stephen Wild, and all his hard work, practice and dedication have paid off with a well-deserved test pass.

Well Done, Jack!
Passing your driving test is a huge achievement and marks an exciting new chapter. Learning to drive takes time, patience and plenty of practice, and Jack has worked hard throughout his lessons to develop the skills and confidence needed to become a safe and independent driver.

From mastering the basics of vehicle control to dealing with different road conditions and everyday traffic situations, every lesson is an important step towards becoming test ready. Jack can now look forward to putting all those skills into practice as a fully qualified driver.

Everyone at BDS Driving School would like to say a massive well done to Jack on his achievement!

Perfect Timing for the Next Chapter
Jack is also moving to St Annes soon, making the timing of his driving test pass particularly useful.

Having his driving licence will give Jack much more freedom and flexibility when it comes to getting to and from work. Instead of relying on lifts or public transport, he will soon be able to make the journey to his job independently, making commuting back and forth much easier.

It’s always great to see our pupils achieve their driving goals at a time when having a licence can make such a positive difference to their everyday lives.

Learn to Drive with BDS Driving School
At BDS Driving School, we understand that every learner is different. Some pupils are confident from their very first lesson, while others need more time to build their confidence behind the wheel. Our instructors work with learners throughout their training, helping them develop the practical driving skills and awareness they need for life on the road.

Whether you are just starting out, have had lessons previously, or are preparing for your practical driving test, regular lessons with a qualified instructor can help you progress towards becoming a confident and responsible driver.

If you're thinking about starting manual driving lessons, now is a great time to get in touch with BDS Driving School and discuss your requirements.

Congratulations once again, Jack!
From Stephen Wild and everyone at BDS Driving School, congratulations on passing your practical driving test. We wish you all the best with your move to St Annes and hope you enjoy the freedom and independence that comes with passing your test.

Well done, Jack — safe driving! 🚗👏

Congratulations Sodiq on Passing His Driving Test!

A huge well done to Sodiq, who passed his driving test on 9th September — which was also his wife’s birthday!

This pass was especially meaningful for Sodiq after test nerves got the better of him at his previous attempt. After the long wait and plenty of determination, he can finally celebrate getting the result he worked so hard for.

Sodiq was understandably very relieved and incredibly happy to have passed. With a newborn baby girl to add to the family, being able to get a car means a huge amount to them. They can now enjoy the freedom and convenience of travelling together without having to rely on public transport.

It’s fantastic to see another learner overcome those test nerves and achieve their goal. Sodiq should be very proud of himself!

Congratulations, Sodiq — safe driving and enjoy your new-found freedom!

Well done from your Automatic Fast Pass Instructor, Sarah Carroll, and everyone at BDS Driving School.

Another First-Time Pass for BDS Driving School!

We’re delighted to celebrate another fantastic first-time pass here at BDS Driving School!

A huge congratulations to Jennifer Jasztal, who achieved a near-perfect result after completing an intensive 15-hour automatic driving course with BDS. Jennifer passed her practical driving test with just ONE minor driving fault — an outstanding achievement!

Jennifer was taught by Mike Joannou, who helped her build the confidence and skills needed to approach her test feeling calm, prepared and ready to succeed.

What Jennifer Had to Say

After her successful test, Jennifer left us this fantastic review:

“Couldn’t recommend BDS and in particular, Mike, more. After a 15 hour intensive automatic course, I passed my test this morning and can only credit it to Mike. He was patient, calm and really built my confidence. He never made me feel rushed or nervous and ensured I was happy and confident heading into the test. Thank you Mike, couldn’t have done it without you!”

It’s wonderful to hear how much Mike’s calm, patient and supportive approach helped Jennifer throughout her course. Building confidence behind the wheel is just as important as developing strong driving skills, and it’s fantastic to see both come together on test day.

Well Done, Jennifer!

Everyone at BDS Driving School would like to wish Jennifer a massive congratulations on her first-time pass. Passing with just one minor is an incredible result, and you should be extremely proud of yourself!

A big well done also goes to Mike Joannou for another excellent result, and to the whole BDS Driving School team for their continued hard work and dedication.

ANOTHER FIRST-TIME PASS FOR BDS DRIVING SCHOOL!

A massive congratulations to Connor, who has done an absolutely fantastic job and passed his manual driving test FIRST TIME!

Connor had completed around 20 hours of driving, and throughout his lessons he worked hard to develop his confidence, awareness and overall driving skills. All that hard work has certainly paid off, and he went into his test with great confidence — coming away with that all-important FIRST-TIME PASS!

Even better, Connor now has a works van waiting for him, so he can put his newly gained driving skills to good use straight away.

It's always a great feeling as an instructor to see a pupil reach this stage, especially when they have worked hard, listened to advice and built their confidence behind the wheel. Connor should be extremely proud of what he has achieved.

Well done, Connor — a brilliant result and very well deserved!

It has been a pleasure helping you learn to drive, and we wish you all the very best with your future driving and in your new works van. Remember, passing your test is just the beginning — keep building those good driving habits and stay safe on the roads!
