The 3.6 TDV8 engine is renowned for its torque, but factory calibrations leave plenty of performance and throttle response on the table.

This example came in for our Evolution Chips recalibration alongside an EGR software solution.

📊 The Results:
• Power Increase: +45 PS
• Torque Increase: +100 Nm

It was previously running a map from another tuner, so step one for us is resetting it back to factory stock. Then it’s heading off to one of our installers to get loaded up with our MSD400 software!

We recently welcomed Macauley back. He’s been to us before with another Fiesta ST180. Naturally, his first stop was right back here to get this one dialed in with our MSD240 with Burbles. 🤝

He didn't mess around with the hardware recipe on this new build, turning up with a fantastic lineup of premium parts:

Exhaust & Flow: 2.75” Vulcan v2 exhaust 🔊
Intake: ITG induction kit connected to a Revo crossover pipe 🌀
Cooling & Ignition: Airtec intercooler and Pumaspeed coil packs ❄️⚡

At MSD, we don't just "de-calibrate" the torque targeting system to trick the ECU into making boost—we rewrite the sub-systems properly so the car can actually utilize this premium airflow.
