🏆🤎 SOMEONE PINCH ME… BECAUSE THIS STILL DOESN’T FEEL REAL! 🥹
Out of all the businesses across the Fylde Coast, Sparkle & Shine Cleaning Services has been selected as one of just SIX finalists in the Trade & Labour category at the Fylde Coast Community Awards 2026! ✨
And now… we need a little help from our lovely community! 🫶🏼
Six years ago, I wasn’t building an empire. I was just trying to build a better future for myself and my children.
I never imagined that one day I’d be running multiple cleaning teams, looking after so many wonderful homes, employing an incredible group of people and having our little business recognised alongside some of the best in the area.
And believe me, it hasn’t all been pretty cleaning pictures and sparkling bathrooms! 🤣🫧
I’ve built this business around raising three children, juggling family life, overcoming personal challenges and dealing with more than my fair share of setbacks.
There have been days I’ve questioned absolutely everything. Days I’ve worked myself into the ground. And days where the only thing keeping me going was knowing how much I’d already put into this.
But look how far we’ve come. 🥹🤎
What makes this nomination even more special is that we’re representing the cleaning industry in a category filled with incredibly talented tradespeople and hardworking local businesses.
Cleaning is often overlooked. People see a mop, a bucket and a hoover, but they don’t always see the skill, dedication, physical work and genuine care that goes into doing this job properly.
And THAT is why I’d absolutely love for us to win. 🏆
Not just for me, but for every member of my team who puts on our uniform and represents the standards I’ve spent years building.
For our clients who have trusted us with their homes.
And for my three children, who have grown up watching their mum turn a little idea into something much bigger. 🤎
🗳️ CAN WE BRING THIS AWARD HOME TO SPARKLE & SHINE?

Whether we win or not, being in that final six is an achievement I’ll never take for granted.
But I won’t pretend I wouldn’t LOVE to see our name on that trophy! 🏆🥹
Thank you for being part of our journey.
