🚛 The New Isuzu Truck P700 is Coming to JDS 👀

The new Isuzu P700 range is set to bring a big change to the 3.5-tonne sector, with the new Grafter getting a serious upgrade in both specification and driver comfort

There’s a lot to look forward to, including:

⏪ Throwback Thursday – A Kerax Built for the Job ⏪

Back to 2018, and this Renault Trucks Kerax was hard at work on the Cuadrilla shale gas site near Blackpool

Fitted with a huge Effer 1355 crane, the truck was used to help erect the drilling rigs on site, a pretty serious bit of kit for a pretty serious job

These photos were taken during routine maintenance on a typically wet November day in Lancashire 🌧️

Whatever your views on the controversial fracking operation at the time, there’s no denying this was an impressive truck and a very specialist setup

🚛 Another Three for The Haulage Family 🚛

It's always good to see customers coming back to us and even better when the orders keep getting bigger.

The Haulage Family in Birmingham have recently added three new Renault Trucks T 480s to their fleet, following on from a Renault Trucks T High they bought from us last year.

So that's four new Renault Trucks in a relatively short space of time, a great vote of confidence in the trucks and the team here at JDS Truck & Van. 👌

🔙 Throwback Thursday – The First Renault Magnum Drawbar in the UK 🚛

Back to 1994 for something a little different

This was the first Renault Magnum drawbar combination in the UK, converted from a tractor unit by the Vehicle Engineering Centre in Dunstable

Based in Blackpool, it normally pulled a box trailer carrying gaming machines for the leisure industry, travelling all over the UK

A pretty unusual setup for the time and a great example of how operators were finding different ways to make the most of the Magnum's distinctive design

30+ years on and it still looks like quite a truck! 👌

🚐 Two New Renault Trucks Masters for Delsol 🚐

A couple of new vans heading out to Delsol this week, two Renault Trucks Master Lutons, finished in their smart livery 👌

These are going to be put straight to work, giving the team plenty of load space
