Three years later… we’re enjoying the fruits of our labour! 🍎🌳

Three years ago, for World Earth Day, the team at Evans Halshaw Blackburn planted an apple tree as part of our commitment to doing our bit for the environment. 🌍💚

Fast forward to today and we’re finally reaping the rewards! 🍏

Our vehicle administrator Kaiser has put our homegrown apples to fantastic use, creating a delicious apple crumble AND some mouth-watering apple & cinnamon crumble muffins. 🧁😍

From planting a little tree to enjoying its delicious harvest — we’d say that’s a pretty sweet return on investment! 🌱➡️🍎➡️😋

Here’s to many more years of growing, harvesting and doing our bit for a greener future! 🌍🌳

🧁 Sweet treats for a sweet milestone! 🎉

The teams at Omoda Jaecoo Blackburn and Ford Blackburn took a well-earned cupcake break to celebrate Lithia's 80th Birthday... and let's just say there weren't many cupcakes left by the end! 😋🧁

A huge happy 80th birthday to Lithia! Here's to eight decades of success, amazing people, and plenty of reasons to celebrate together. Cheers to many more years of making memories (and enjoying the occasional cupcake)! 🎂🥳

Happy Birthday, Lithia! 🎈💙

🎉 What an incredible milestone! 🎉

Today, we had the absolute pleasure of handing over the 1,000,000th Ford Puma Gen-E to its proud new owner, Mrs Horton! 🚗⚡

As if that wasn't special enough, Mrs Horton also won an all-expenses-paid trip to Romania to witness her very own car being built at the factory – a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience! 🇷🇴🏭

It's been an absolute privilege to be part of such a memorable moment. We're incredibly proud to have played a role in this milestone and to share in the excitement with you and the entire Ford family.

Congratulations once again, and thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Here's to many happy miles ahead! 🎊💙

My First Car: Then & Now 🚗

For generations of drivers, the Ford Fiesta wasn't just a car - it was freedom, independence, and the start of countless memories.

Back in 1976, the very first Ford Fiesta arrived and quickly became a favourite thanks to its simple design, affordability, and impressive fuel economy. Compact, reliable, and easy to drive, it was the perfect first car for new drivers and young families alike. It proved that a small car could be practical, fun, and full of character.

Fast forward to the final generation, and the Fiesta had transformed into a stylish, technology-packed hatchback. With its sleek looks, advanced driver-assistance features, touchscreen infotainment with smartphone connectivity, award-winning EcoBoost engines, and refined driving experience, it continued to be one of Britain's best loved cars.

From its humble beginnings in 1976 to its final chapter, the Ford Fiesta evolved with every generation while never losing what made it special - a fun, dependable car that created memories for millions of drivers. 💙

Sometimes it’s the little things that make our day 💌

Dave and Karen were on their way from Bournemouth to Scotland when their motorhome unexpectedly broke down. We got them booked in straight away, made sure they were looked after with a complimentary overnight stay at Casa Del Evans Halshaw Blackburn Car Park, and had them back on the road as quickly as possible 🚐✨

Today, we received a lovely postcard from them thanking the team – and it truly means the world to us.

Dave and Karen, thank you for your kind words. We hope you’re having an amazing holiday in Scotland! 🌄 Don't forget to leave us a 5 star on Airbnb 👀
