For me and my co pilot it’s been an eye opener, war just doesn’t stop once it’s disappeared from the headlines, both emotional and joyous to see so many kids and families having pictures taken with the cars, chatting to the teams and being able to hear their stories was somewhat humbling.

We hit the road again today for a rest day in Ghent before our last trip back up the m6 and home.

Next Thursday sees us set off on our fundraising drive to Bosnia, as a group we have raised just over 92k for SSAFA the Armed Forces charity.A fantastic amount of money !

SSAFA the Armed Forces charity support the welfare, health, and support services, of the UK military’s serving personnel, veterans, and their families.

During our trip we will be taking part in operation shoe box, this is an incentive to bring toys,books and small essential items to children in the Bosnia area some joy, we have 4 boxes within our vehicle that will be donated to the charity representatives on our arrival in Sarajevo.
