The Vella Group is delighted to announce that Gaskells Motor Bodies has been acquired and will be joining our growing business and team. Based in Great Harwood, near Blackburn, the site will be the Groups 12th, and the first step in the current stage of the company’s growth strategy.
Nick and Louise Gaskell have owned and operated Gaskell Motor Bodies since 1998, building a successful business through lots of hard work, securing prestige manufacturer approvals and creating a very strong local brand through fantastic community work whilst delivering outstanding customer service. We are very pleased that they both will continue to work in the site for The Vella Group, with Nick becoming site manager.
Nick Gaskell said: “Louise and I are very proud of the business and team that we have built up over the past 25 years, but felt that the time was right to become part of a larger group. We and all the staff are looking forward to the opportunity of working with the Vella Group. We’d like to thank all the customers, local community, friends and family who have supported us over the years & we look forward to them following us on our journey.”
