Get your cars to the Charity Car Wash at Blackpool and The Fylde College Ashfield Road Bispham in Support of Brian House Children’s Hospice.

Our automotive students and Brimelows Mot & Service Centre. will be hosting a Charity Car Wash from Tuesday 5TH May to Friday 8TH May 2026, with all proceeds donated to Brian House Children’s Hospice a local charity that provides vital care and support to children with life limiting conditions and their families.

Dates: Tuesday 5th May – Friday 8th May 2026
Time: 9.30am – 3.00pm
Location:Bispham Campus Ashfield Road
Bring your car along and let our students give it a thorough wash and polish. Not only will you drive away with a sparkling clean car, but you’ll also be supporting a fantastic local cause.
Services available:
• Pre‑wash rinse
• Sponge wash
• Alloys cleaned
A recommended donation of £5 is suggested, although any additional contributions will be greatly appreciated. Donations can be made via the charity bucket on the day or through the Brian House online QR code.
We hope colleagues can support the event and help our students raise as much as possible for this important charity.

National Automotive Careers Week couldn’t have landed at a better time because we’ve just seen exactly what real, hands‑on experience can do.

Kyle, one of our Blackpool and The Fylde College automotive learners has secured an apprenticeship straight off the back of his work placement, proving once again that you simply can’t beat getting stuck in, showing what you can do, and giving an employer the confidence to say yes to young talent.

🎉 EPA Success for Our Automotive Apprentices 🎉

What a week for the team at NATA and Blackpool and The Fylde College.

Huge congratulations to our Vehicle Damage Paint Technician apprentices, who have smashed their End-Point Assessments and shown exactly what hard work, skill, and determination look like in action.

Our 2 Automotive Technician apprentices have also completed their assessments, and we’re now eagerly awaiting their results. Confidence is high, and the pride in the workshop has been outstanding.

From complex diagnostics to precision paintwork, our apprentices have stepped up, delivered under pressure, and proven they’re ready for the next stage of their careers.

A massive thank you to the employers who continue to back their learners, and to our training team who guide, challenge, and champion them every step of the way.
