🎉FIRST TIME PASS 🎉 The biggest congratulations to Ruby who went and smashed her test today with only 3 driver faults. I’ve been waiting a long long time to post this one !! 18 months to be exact. What a journey it’s been but today I get to say farewell to my longest standing pupil. To say that Ruby wasn’t a natural at driving at the start was an understatement to say the least. Her awful driving was legendary amongst kids from Bishopbriggs and beyond 😂.
I have never had a pupil that has worked so hard and with so much determination until it all finally clicked.
Every lesson I got a new Ruby story, anyone who knows you will know exactly what I’m talking about !!
Feel free to keep me updated with these randomly in the future 😂.
Honestly can’t say how proud and happy I am that you managed to get yourself through it today. Well deserved 👏🏻
Looking forward to seeing you scooting about in your car 🚙💨
Please drive carefully as neither one of us could go through this again 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

🎉FIRST TIME PASS🎉 Huge congratulations to Kodi who passed her test today at Bishopbriggs test centre. Kodi has made massive progress over the last month on the lead up to the test. This coincided with her actually deciding that maybe she didn’t know best and myself and her mum maybe do know a wee bit about driving 🤷🏻‍♂️😂. Wasn’t your best drive today during the test but you were more than ready to pass. So happy for you. Thank you again for the card and gift ( future pupils take note !!!! 😂)

🎉FIRST TIME PASS🎉 Huge congratulations to Cheryl who absolutely smashed her test this morning at Bishopbriggs test centre. Feedback from the examiner was fantastic. He said it’s the best test he’s had out in months and was a near perfect drive. Cheryl has worked so hard over the last year to overcome her nerves to get to this stage. The weekly abuse and swearing I had to endure was worth it in the end 😂. Just as well I’m so calm and tolerant. In all seriousness though So happy for you as I know how driving will change your life. See you as soon as you get your car. Safe driving 🚗💨

🎉FIRST TIME PASS🎉 Massive congratulations to .bain__ who passed his test today (just) at Bishopbriggs. Racking up an impressive number of driver faults. How you managed to do this and still pass is beyond me 😂. In all seriousness though we both know it was down to nerves and thankfully the examiner saw past this and actually commented how smooth your drive was. Absolutely delighted for you m8. Best of luck with your football. Safe driving 🚗💨

🎉MADISON PASSED🎉 Where to even begin with this one 😂 this pass has been 2 years in the making. YES 2 YEARS !! Madison has been with me since October 2023 🤦🏻‍♂️but had a lot of lessons before this as well. Although I am sad to be losing my OG pupil thank god she finally passed. I think the most memorable moment was a couple of tests ago when Madison left the test centre got the the first roundabout and was so busy looking to the right she would have hit the railing if the examiner hadn’t intervened. She turned round at the roundabout and came back onto the test centre. It literally lasted 40 seconds 🤦🏻‍♂️
I don’t think I’ve ever taught anyone who can drive so well in lessons and then so unbelievably bad in tests 😂
Anyway it’s over now for both of us !! I have every confidence in your driving ability out there by yourself
You shouldn’t even be classed as a new driver with the amount of time it’s taken 🤷🏻‍♂️😂
Come get me next week for your motorway lesson. Safe driving 🚗💨

🎉AISLING PASSED🎉 Massive congratulations to Aisling who passed her test today with only 5 driver faults. This was a great result considering she got a very tough route. You have been a pleasure to teach, I’ll miss hearing about all your Facebook stories 😂. Aislings first test was going great until she decided it was a good idea to do 38mph in a 30 limit 🤦🏻‍♂️. Even the examiner coughing to try and get her attention didn’t slow her down. She told me later “ I just thought he had a cough “

🎉FIRST TIME PASS🎉 Huge congratulations to Darrel who held his nerve and smashed his test today at Bishopbriggs with only 4 driver faults. Coping so well with a very busy test route due to school traffic. Start to finish this has only taken 4 months !! Been a model pupil from day 1. It definitely helped when we made a list of things to work on a week ago after a questionable mock test. These included don’t hit the kerb and don’t drive on the wrong side of the road round blind corners 🤦🏻‍♂️. Thankfully we fixed these faults before today’s test. As Darrel is one of my neighbours I will continue to judge and comment on his driving for years to come 👀

🎉FIRST TIME PASS🎉 Huge congratulations to Adam who smashed his test this morning at Bishopbriggs test centre with only 2 driver faults. With a test time of 820am that’s a great result due to school traffic and an early rise !! It’s been an absolute pleasure teaching you m8. You’ve taken the constructive criticism very well. We finally got to grips with roundabouts in time for today. Can’t really blame you though. Reckon it’s hereditary seeing as your dad doesn’t fully understand them after 30 years of driving. What chance have you got ? 🤷🏻‍♂️😂. I’ll see you next week for your motorway lesson in your car. Until then drive safe 🚗💨

🎉CAIDEN PASSED 🎉 Massive congratulations to who passed his test yesterday with only a few driver driver faults. Don’t think I’ve had a pupil who could drive so well for long periods of time then randomly do the most idiotic things 🤷🏻‍♂️😂. Hopefully being able to drive will stop you from going out drinking at the weekends when I hear even more idiotic things occur 🤦🏻‍♂️. At least you’re driving before your wee brother, if you’d failed this one you’d be feeling the pressure. . In all seriousness though absolutely delighted for you, very well deserved. 🎉 EVIE PASSED 🎉 Oh where to even begin with this one!’ I’ve been teaching Evie since April last year and due to a few theory stumbles and a driving test mishap we finally got the result today. Anyone that knows Evie will understand what I have been through over all these months 🤯🔫
She narrowly failed a test a few weeks ago driving great with only 2 minor faults but apparently forgot what a give way was at a junction 🤦🏻‍♂️.
Evie has asked me not to mention the number of driver faults this time round so I won’t ( see comments 👇🏻)
All joking aside though your pass was well deserved today as you are a very competent driver now. You were great fun to teach and hopefully see you for that motorway lesson very soon in your car I can’t wait 😂

🎉FIRST TIME PASS 🎉. Oh where to even begin with this one 🤷🏻‍♂️ Cammy started lessons with me about 2 years ago and took to it really well. I thought yeah won’t take this lad long. How wrong I was ! Then came the theory test !! We lost count at 15 attempts ( I’m not exaggerating !!! ) About 20 tests later he finally passed 🎉. Lessons were on and off as he moved down south from Rangers to Oxford Utd but restarted again when he signed for Airdrie. Today he smashed his test with only 3 driver faults. Cannot tell you how chuffed I am for you m8 although a bit sad that I’m losing my longest standing pupil. Honestly couldn’t meet a more grounded lad for a pro footballer. Best of luck in your career. Hopefully see you soon when you finally drag your dad along to my gym and we can give him grief instead of the other way around. Safe driving 🚗💨
