Our technicians are highly trained and IVR certified, making them fully safe and legally approved to work on motorways.
When it comes to motorway work, safety and compliance aren’t optional — they’re guaranteed.

The Institute of Vehicle Recovery (IVR) provides industry-recognised training for professionals working in vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, and motorway operations.
IVR training focuses on safety, legality, and best practice, especially when working in high-risk environments such as motorways and live traffic roads. It ensures technicians understand how to protect themselves, their colleagues, and the public at all times.
Key areas covered include:
Safe working on motorways and high-speed roads
Correct use of warning lights, signage, and PPE
Traffic management and dynamic risk assessment
Legal responsibilities and compliance with UK highway regulations
Safe recovery techniques for vehicles in dangerous locations
Completing IVR training means technicians are properly qualified, compliant with regulations, and legally permitted to operate on motorways. It’s a recognised standard within the recovery industry and demonstrates a strong commitment to professionalism and safety.
