😳 HOW ARE THESE BRAKES STILL HOLDING ON?! 🔧🚗

We had a customer bring their vehicle into AutoWorks HQ today, and just LOOK at the state of these brake discs and pads! 😱

It’s safe to say the customer got their money’s worth out of these brake pads… there’s barely anything left of one of them! 😂

And as for the brake discs? Absolutely destroyed! 😬

Thankfully, we were able to get everything sorted and make sure the customer could get back on the road safely! ✅

⚠️ Your brakes are one of the most important safety features on your vehicle! If you’re hearing grinding, squealing, or noticing a change in braking performance, don’t ignore it!

🔧 Need your brakes checking or replacing? Pop into AutoWorks HQ and let our technicians take a look!

🎮 WE’VE MADE A GAME! 🚗🛞

After our visit to The Blend this weekend, we came away feeling inspired by some amazing talks from people across the garage industry!

One talk that really resonated with us was from Sophie, aka The Tyre Lady! 🛞

It got us thinking… how can we take a serious topic and make it both fun and educational? 🤔

Well, we decided to make a GAME! 🎮

We’ve combined a bit of fun with an important message about tyre safety, and now we want YOU to give it a go!

🔧 Making TPMS Replacements Easier & More Affordable! 🚗

We’ve been replacing a lot of TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) sensors recently, and with many replacement parts only available directly from dealerships, the costs can quickly add up! 💰

So, we’ve been exploring alternative solutions and were recommended ! 🙌

Their fantastic equipment now allows us to programme new TPMS sensors ourselves, giving us more flexibility and reducing our reliance on dealerships. What’s even better is just how easy the equipment and software are to use! The whole process is incredibly straightforward, making programming and replacing TPMS sensors quicker and more efficient! 🔧

We also wanted to give a massive shoutout to the team at Bartec! Their customer service has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They’ve been incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and supportive throughout the whole process. 👏

It’s always great to work with companies that genuinely care about their customers!

🛢️ When was the last time you had your engine oil changed? 🚗🔧

Your engine oil plays a HUGE role in keeping your vehicle running smoothly! It lubricates moving parts, reduces friction, helps regulate temperature and protects your engine from unnecessary wear.

⏰ So, when should you change it?

Most manufacturers recommend changing your oil based on mileage or time, often around every 10,000–12,000 miles or 12 months, but this varies depending on your vehicle and driving habits. Always follow your manufacturer’s recommendations!

⚠️ What happens if you leave it too long?

❌ Sludge and carbon deposits can build up

❌ Increased friction and engine wear

❌ Reduced engine efficiency

❌ Overheating and potential engine damage

❌ Expensive repairs or even complete engine failure!

💜 A simple oil change today could save you thousands in repairs tomorrow!
