Congratulations to Isabelle Drury from Longbridge after just passing her driving test at the first attempt 30th July 2025 at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre.

After practicing all that was needed up to this point today was the real deal and done in style getting the harshest examiner.

She guided the car round the designated route following signs for the independent driving and taking in a forward bay park in Sainsburys car park.

Now you can go car shopping this weekend before you go shopping for all those Vegan delights.

Congratulations to Sam Curry from Weoley Castle after just passing his driving test at the 1st attempt at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre 27th July 2025.

After doing well in mock tests today was merely a formality.

After the usual calming of the pre test nerves Sam’s examiner Steve summoned him. He then managed to guide the car round the designated test route taking in a forward bay park in Sainsbury’s and wound back up near the test centre with only a couple of faults on the test report.

Cracking drive Sam.

Another week

Another test pass 😜

Today was the turn of Alex Coombes at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre.

I called today’s test correctly guessing that Alex would be asked to perform the Reverse Bay Manoeuvre and following the Sat Nav.

And what a cracking drive Alex put in getting the toughest examiner and winding up back at the test centre with very few faults on the test report.

Now get looking for that Alfa Romeo for your first car.

Huge congratulations to Lacey Bull from Frankley after just passing her driving test at the first attempt at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre.

With Thunder and heavy rain predicted we were trying to get through this before it started. After performing well in the mock tests Lacey was ready to try the real test.

Oh boy was it a test. ALL of the things she hated in one test. Signs not Sat Nav, Parallel Park, Turning right on Beckett’s Farm Roundabout but she still managed to make it back with only a couple of driving faults for Undue Hesitation.

Cracking drive and bragging rights as your the only one in your household to pass first time 😜

Huge Congratulations To Alex Jones-Cook from West Heath after just passing his Practical Driving Test at the First Attempt at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre.

After a great warm up and lots of mock test experience Alex was ready to give the test a shot and boy did he. Got signs for the independent drive instead of Sat Nav and took in a Right Reverse along the way and ended back up at the test centre with almost a clean sheet 😮. If that timing of that signal was a fraction later 🤔.

All the hard work has paid off now go and find some wheels 🚙 and enjoy your new found freedom.

Huge congratulations to Paul Danton from Bournville after passing his driving test on the first attempt with Shane Wilson Driver Training.

After many unsuccessful tests in the past with previous instructors it was time to weave my magic and get Paul test ready for this one.

After a good pre test warm up Paul managed to get around his route taking in a Reverse Parallel Park on the way and wind up back at the test centre with that pass that he has craved for some time.

No more double buses for you now to get to work just think of all that time saved.

Congratulations to Mark Chantry after passing his practical test today 7th February at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre.

Bit of a strange one this as we were waiting for test and nobody else was there. Out came the examiner and Mark’s was the only test going out.

With the Theory Test expiration date this May put added pressure onto this test but Mark breezed through the route taking in a reverse right and becketts farm roundabout twice to wind up back at the test centre with only 2 driver faults and they were both for gears 😮😂

Congratulations to Ashly from Frankley after passing her driving test 1st time with Shane Wilson Driver Training today at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre.

After unsuccessful attempts at the test she made the switch to Shane Wilson Driver Training after a friend recommended the school.

After sprinkling a bit of my magic and conducting mock tests identical to the real test Ashly was ready for this one.

And WOW what an impressive drive making it back with only a couple of driver faults.

Well done on your achievement.

Congratulations to Jacob Wells from Longbridge after passing his Practical Test First Time with Shane Wilson Driver Training.

After another fantastic mock test only a few days ago Jacob just had to show the examiner what he could do.

On the route took in a forward bay park and ended up back at the test centre with hardly a mark on the test report. The hard work definitely paid off.

All that’s to do now is to get a car and insurance so they’ll be no more waiting for buses and using public transport to get to and from work.

Congratulations to Libby Carr on passing her practical driving test 1st time at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre. All the hard work in those Mock Tests has certainly paid off. Taking in a Reverse Bay Park and an Emergency Stop.

What a day yesterday. Storm Darren in full effect. But that didn’t stop Charlie Simms passing his Practical Test First Time at Kings Heath Driving Test Centre with very few marks on the sheet.

Very early start and a quick practice of the manoeuvres and the Emergency Stop before taking the test in such awful conditions. Charlie took in a Reverse Bay Park in Sainsbury’s Car Park and an Emergency Stop then make it back to the test centre to the result he wanted.

Now you can get insurance on your car and enjoy your new found freedom.
