Another customer back on the road after an AdBlue/DEF system fault diagnosis and repair.

Following a full diagnostic investigation on this DAF fitted with a Cummins Euro 6 engine, we identified an AdBlue pump fault causing multiple SCR and dosing-related fault codes, including failed dosing tests and engine derate issues.

🔍 Faults Found:

* AdBlue/DEF dosing malfunction
* SCR catalyst efficiency faults
* Failed dosing tests
* Engine power derate active

🛠️ Repair Carried Out:

* Performed full diagnostic testing
* Confirmed AdBlue pump failure
* Replaced the AdBlue pump assembly with a new unit
* Carried out system checks and dosing tests
* Cleared fault codes and verified correct operation

✅ Result:

* Dosing test passed successfully
* AdBlue pressure restored to specification
* SCR system operating correctly
* Fault codes cleared
* Vehicle returned to full power with no derate

Today we attended a customer’s site to replace 2 trailer brake chambers and get their trailer safely back on the road.

During inspection, we found:
✅ One brake chamber had suffered a broken internal spring.
✅ The second brake chamber had developed an air leak affecting braking performance.

Both chambers were replaced on-site, the braking system was tested, and the trailer was returned to service with full functionality restored.

One of our customers brought a new trailer, on the first PMI before use we found all callipers seized, uneven pad wear and some below minimum thickness, and discs starting separate.

All new discs and pads fitted, 2x new callipers and 4x slider kits fitted, now all good and ready for the customer to get on the road.
