Remember to take your ADI badge when you meet the Examiner for your Standards Check as they usually ask to see it. It saves having to show them when you get in the car and it helps things run more smoothly before you start your lesson.

What type of pupil should you take on your standards check ?
I would say its not necessarily the level of the pupil but more the consistency. In the past I have worked with instructors who have got a low grade because the pupil went to pieces with nerves and the instructor had so much to deal with that they ended up getting a low grade. Its better to take a pupil who does not go to pieces after making a mistake so you at least know what you are dealing with even if their overall standard may not be very high.
What do you think? does anyone have a story to share regarding this.
