We love a good challenge! This Renault Clio came to us after the customer picked it up from Copart with a blown head gasket. Instead of going down the repair route, the owner opted for a complete engine upgrade—and we delivered!

What we did:

- Removed the old unit (over 100k miles) 🛑
-Sourced and fitted a fresh, healthy replacement engine with only ~70k miles on the clock ✨
-Full MOT repairs to get it completely road-ready 📋
-Fresh engine oil, new oil filter, and a complete fluid top-up 🛢️

🔧 From MOT Failures to Road-Ready Compliance! 🔧

We’ve been busy transforming this 2015 Renault Clio with a massive list of repairs to get it completely sorted, safe, and legal for the road. This car needed a mix of heavy mechanical work, detailed trim restoration, and fresh rubber.

Here’s the full breakdown of the work completed:
🛑 Braking System: Replaced thin, heavily lip-worn front discs and pads with a premium new setup.
🧼 Glazing & Trim: Replaced a smashed driver-side window, taking the time to strip the internal door card to clear out all hidden broken glass. Also fitted a fresh passenger-side wing mirror assembly.
👟 Tyre Service:

.Fitted a brand-new tyre on the Offside Front (OSF).

.Fitted a brand-new tyre on the Nearside Rear (NSR).

.Carried out a safe, professional puncture repair on a third tyre to save the client money.
💡 Electrics: Fixed a hanging rear fog light and replaced failing bulbs.

A smashed window is a massive security headache, and a shattered wing mirror is an immediate MOT failure. This 2015 Renault Clio came to us looking a bit worse for wear, but we got it sorted.

🧼 The Right Way: Door card completely stripped down to thoroughly clean out every single bit of shattered glass from the regulator assembly and door cavity (nobody wants glass rattling in their door!)
✅ Brand new driver-side window glass fitted and tested
❌ Shattered passenger-side wing mirror glass glass completely spider-webbed
✅ Fresh, immaculate wing mirror assembly fitted and ready for action

🛑 BRAKE REFRESH: Before vs After! 🛑

Take a look at the difference on this 2015 Renault Clio that came in for some much-needed MOT repairs.

The old front discs were heavily lip-worn, corroded, and well past their safest working life. We stripped them down, cleaned up the hub faces, and fitted a fresh set of premium front brake discs and pads to get this stopping exactly as it should.

Alongside the brakes, we also took care of some other key MOT failures and advisories to keep this car safely on the road:
✅ Driver-side window glass replaced & cleaned out
✅ Passenger wing mirror assembly fitted
✅ Fresh bulbs & rear fog light secured
✅ Full diagnostics & service light resets
