Vw Transporter T6 2.0tdi

This was drove to me knocking very badly 🫣
Full engine stripped down found not much left of one of the big end bearings. I never really like to over size bearings so another crank and rod was supplied. New piston rings, block checked and honed, genuine bearings, genuine cambelt kit, new Garrett turbo and all associated gaskets/bolts etc. now running nice again.

Andy’s Vw Jetta Mk2 TFSI BWA conversion

Did this a while ago now not one of the simplest but definitely rewarding. Had to make a custom engine mount for the back to fit around the turbo, mated to a 02J 5 speed box, G60 flywheel and vr6 clutch, Modified ABF front engine mount. Wiring wasn’t too bad made it standalone with its own fuse box in the engine bay getting rid of the big mk5 fuse box. Once the loom was stripped back there was about as many wires to figure out as a R32 engine. Used Van Der Veer tacho converter to read engine speed from can and convert it to the Mk3 clocks also took advantage of the controller to do needle sweep and pick up the analog vehicle speed and send it over can so the engine ecu knows vehicle speed. Wired in the mk5 fuel pump controller and mounted the mk5 pedal to the floor. Modified mk5 3” down pipe really needs a full 3” system. Definitely a quick Jetta the torque feels incredible in this 😁
