For those who would like to say goodbye to Lin, her funeral will be held on:

Thursday 8th October 2026 at 3pm
Landican Centre Chapel

This will be followed by a Celebration of Lin’s Life at The Basset Hound, Thingwall, where we can come together, share memories and raise a glass to a very special lady.

A difficult message from the Durley Garage family. ❤️

Unfortunately, one of our own, Lin, gained her Angel wings today.

Along with Graham and Greg, Lin was an integral part of starting Durley Garage and helping to build it into what it is today. We simply wouldn’t be where we are without her, and for that we will always be grateful.

As we’ve always said, Durley Garage is a family business — and all of our staff are family. That makes today incredibly difficult for every one of us.

Over the coming days and weeks, please bear with us. Things may not always run quite as they normally do, and we may not be quite as “on the ball” as usual. But we will all be doing our absolute best to carry on and keep things moving.

We hope you can understand that this is a very difficult time for us all, and we really appreciate your patience, kindness and understanding.

Rest peacefully, Lin. You’ll always be a part of the Durley Garage family. ❤️

There we go—done and dusted in an incredible 5 hours 27 minutes! 💪

Massive congratulations on such a fantastic achievement Lauren Ashleigh you absolutely smashed it!

And thanks to all your support, Lauren has also surpassed her £1000 fundraising target, with every penny going to The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre to support the amazing work they do. ❤️

As many of you know, The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is incredibly close to our hearts because of the amazing work they have done for our very own Linda Malam over the years and continue to do so.

Lin’s daughter Lauren Ashleigh is running her first marathon tomorrow - the Marathon. Any donations and words of wisdom / encouragement for Lauren would be amazing! Wishing her all the luck in world as she attempts this monumental achievement for an amazing cause.

The BRSCC is delighted to welcome Durley Garage Ltd as the title sponsor of the BRSCC Fiesta ST150 Challenge for the 2026 race season.

Run by Fiesta ST150 Challenge racer Graham Malam, Durley Garage is a well-established family run garage and all cars will display the brand logo on the windscreen sunstrip throughout the season.

The championship has seen almost 30 registrations so far with a strong community of competitors expected on the grid for another cracking season of ST150 Challenge racing!
