Don’t usually use this platform to have a little rant, but having driven to see my Mum today Hitchin and back too Bigz. I was shocked by how many drivers seem to think they do not need there lights on. I witnessed at least 30% having no lights on and some thinking side lights or running lights enough for conditions i would grade as poor visibility. The highway code says Fog lights SHOULD be used under 100 meters of visibility and in places it would have been close to this, at the very least dipped beam headlights and tail lights should be used. Come on people BE SEEN in these condition’s we are experiencing at the moment.

Just an update on lessons as I’m having Enquiry’s regarding lessons and Tests. My understanding at the moment is that lessons as long as COVID keeps in check can start again from the 12th April, and Tests Will Start on the 22nd of April, again assuming no new outbreaks. I am taking provisional bookings from the 12th April so please get in touch as i assume it is going to be very busy what with a back log.

***Driving Lessons are back***

Good news as from the 4th of July i can start teaching again. I am still waiting for details and will let you know as soon as i have them.

At the moment i know i will have to clean my car before and at the end of each lesson which I was doing before lock down. Face masks and gloves will be needed i have some but if pupils bring their own that is fine. Windows will be down during the lesson to provide circulation of air. If pupils show any sign of symptoms before lesson please postpone until clear of symptoms. Also wash their hands before and after lesson.

This is all I know for now, if anyone wants to book lessons either existing or new pupils please tx call 07867871669 and we can get back on the road from the 4th of July.

I hope this is useful to my existing pupils and anyone hoping to continue or start learning to drive. Please share if you think this could help any family or friends.
