Congratulations to Arran Lehane on successfully completing his Pass Plus course today! 🚗💨

Having already passed his driving test in Lanark, where the roads are generally less busy and less complex, we wanted to build on those skills and take his driving experience to the next level.

Over the course, we tackled a wide variety of driving environments including:

✅ Motorway driving
✅ Busy urban routes and dual carriageways around and through Hamilton and East Kilbride
✅ Glasgow City Centre traffic and complex road systems
✅ Complex spiral roundabouts including the Raith Interchange
✅ Single track middle of nowhere back roads
✅ A trip to Glasgow Airport and back

Pass Plus is all about gaining valuable experience in conditions that many new drivers may not have encountered during their lessons, helping to build confidence, awareness and safe driving habits for life.

A fantastic effort throughout the course, showing great attitude, willingness to learn and a real commitment to becoming an even better driver.
Well done, Arran – drive safe and enjoy the freedom of the road! 👏🚘

🎉 20 YEARS OF GRAHAM MAY SCHOOL OF MOTORING 🎉

This month marks 20 years since I started Graham May School of Motoring.

Back in 2006, I set out with a simple aim: to help people become safe, confident drivers. Twenty years later, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of learners from Biggar, Lanark and the surrounding areas pass their driving test and gain the independence that comes with holding a full driving licence.

Over the years I've taught learners of all ages and backgrounds. Some arrived excited, some arrived nervous, but seeing the smile on a pupil's face when they pass their test has never got old.

The photos here represent just a tiny fraction of the people I've had the pleasure of teaching over the last two decades. Every pass certificate tells a story, and I'm grateful to have played a small part in so many of them.

A huge thank you to all past and present pupils, their families, and everyone who has supported the business over the years. Your recommendations and continued support have allowed a small local driving school to thrive for 20 years.

Here's to the next chapter and many more successful test passes.
