2018 Mini Cooper S broke down at the coop yesterday. Customer walked down with the keys and asked us to have a look if we had any time. Broken spring that had bent the cup on the bottom of the shock absorber and subsequently rubbed through the inner tyre wall!

New Tyre, Shock Absorber and spring all fitted up this morning to get the car back on the road for the weekend!

Nice little job at the start of the week. Vauxhall Zafira came in with a leaky sump as it had started to rust. Old sump off, cleaned and removed all debris and new sump fitted with fresh oil and filter. Car back on the road 👏🏽👍🏽

Renault trafic van in this week. Was over from Germany when the van developed an EGR fault causing the valve to be stuck...

Renault trafic van in this week. Was over from Germany when the van developed an EGR fault causing the valve to be stuck open which can cause lots of running issues.
Fixed it for the customer in time for them to head back home! Check out the carbon build up in the EGR valve.

Stott’s Motor Garage will be closed from Saturday 15th August until Saturday 29th August while we take a short break to celebrate Adam’s wedding and enjoy some time away.

We will be back open and ready for business from Monday 31st August.

If your vehicle is due a service, repair or MOT preparation before we close, please get in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. If you need anything in the period of closure please message the page or drop me an email and I’ll get back to you asap!

Another busy day today in the heat today☀️ 2016 DS5 in for a timing belt, water pump and service. Rear discs and pads were on there last legs so they were replaced while the car was in and on the ramp.

A couple of serious BMW performance machines in the workshop this week 🔥

We’ve had this stunning BMW M2 and eye-catching BMW M135i in for some work. M2 came in as both windows were not functioning so genuine BMW Regulators fitted and car back on the road. M135i came in for front pads and an oil change.
