Today we had a van dropped off by a CEO’s Managing Director, and the conversation went something like this...

Customer's MD: "Could you give me a lift to where the boss is waiting?"
Me: "Of course... where to?"
Customer's MD: "The nearest airfield."
Me: “errmmmm”

Now, we've had customers arrive by taxi, car and train... but I certainly wasn't expecting one to arrive in his own helicopter. 🚁

Their brand new Transit Custom had just been dropped off with us to begin its conversion, and after travelling over 300 miles, I'd say that's a pretty memorable way to arrive/leave

After having a chat, discussing a few designs and finishes, they were off and on their way home.

We’re definitely excited to get started on this one!

It’s certainly been a busy few weeks at Saltline HQ. Between camper handovers, attending shows, and growing our team (more on that soon 👀), there’s been plenty happening behind the scenes.

This stunning VW Transporter is just one of several campers to leave our workshop recently. Every conversion is another opportunity for us to improve, refine, and raise the bar, and we feel this one really reflects the quality and attention to detail we’re striving for.

We hope its new owners enjoy every adventure ahead.

This week's favourite has officially left Saltline HQ!

It's always a pleasure welcoming returning customers back through the door. After converting their Crafter a few years ago, they trusted us once again with their new LWB Ford Transit Custom/T7.

Designed as a day van, this build didn't need a pop-top. Instead, the focus was on creating a clean, practical space with a premium feel throughout.

One of our favourite features has to be the tan leather upholstery by Mulberry Furnishings. It really lifts the whole interior and works beautifully with the rest of the build. Working alongside our good friends at Smartbeds, we were also able to fit the first rail bed into a LWB T7.

We couldn't be happier with how this one has turned out. Thank you again for putting your trust in Saltline Campers

Some builds mean a little more than others, and this was one of them.

We recently completed this van for a couple whose lives changed overnight after a freak accident. Instead of slowing down, they’ve chosen a new path—one focused on freedom, travel, and living life to the fullest.

This fully off-grid camper is now their base for work, adventure, and everything ahead. We’re incredibly proud to have helped make it happen and can't wait to see where the adventures take them.
