Peerless GT 1960.

A landmark day for us today, as the body has received it's final topcoats and it's looking pretty stunning, even if we say so ourselves 😎❤️. Flattening and polishing the body after the paint has fully cured, then the two doors, bonnet and boot lid to crack on with. Happy day's 👍🏻🙂.The colour is 03 426 50 VERMILLION RED.

This is just a couple pictures of the colour swatches we produced, to show to the customer and the final colour chosen is the one in the blue circles, which is more than likely the original colour 👍🏼🙂. The colour is 03 426 50 VERMILLION RED.

This is just a few pic's of the finished body, with all the layers of epoxy primers added. We haven't and will never use fillers in our work, just pure fiberglass 👍🏻🙂🍻🍺.

This is a few pic's of the last of the repairs to the two doors, bonnet and boot lid. Showing the process of grinding all damage/cracks, down to a single layer (paper thin), making templates then adding four layers of chopped strand matting.

Ferrari f430, rear defuser .

This is a nice little job 🙄👍🏻🙂. The defuser dropped down, at speed and completely ground away the front 100mm from the front edge and from the removable fin's. Also the rear vent section was damaged/missing.

Peerless GT 1960.
This is just a couple of pic's of white gelcoat, being sprayed onto the body. This stage is most important as it will show us whether the overall shapes are correct and also fills any micro bubbles on the surface of the fibreglass. So far, it's looking very positive 👍🏻🙂🍻🍺.

Apologies for the lack of updates on the progress of the Peerless. We have now just about completed all the reshaping, repaired all damaged parts and cracks on the body. There is barely a square inch that hasn't been repaired/worked on.
we still won't use 🤢🤢 "bodge" body filler 🤮 anywhere 👍😊.
