Bit of Oldskool BTCC with CoastRacing owner Matt…this was the Silverstone Night Race in the Bintcliffe Sport Nissan Primera, it absolutely pi**ed with rain all night and was a messy old evening…..just like in Cornwall last night..2001 where’s that time gone, why were we running number 84!!….

It’s been a fantastic week to start off 2026, some exciting projects about to start for CoastRacing just a few more jobs in the second workshop to finish, Airlines fitted, offices roof boarded and car lift fitted all these jobs already take longer to do than you think to do them properly! Devil is in the details so they work right long term….weve some rally cars in, some classic cars, an interesting full car build and a famous F1 car imminent and then for our super crazy customer James a Dakar motorcycle!!….Happy Friday everyone, Matt x

Having started in 1980 owner has enjoyed a lifetime of from humble beginnings in to some amazing roles within the sport both as a driver, team owner and preparation expert for drivers and other teams within the world. Now happily settled in the motorsport theme continues with new preparation workshops for both bodywork repairs and paint and also larger projects building & restoration of classic cars and retro-mod builds for customers he has met from travelling the automotive world…..we are going to start posting some of these old story’s from 4 decades of involvement and ….so give a follow and share the fun and laughs (sometimes tears) of a life of automotive adventure.

now relocated from the heart of motorsport valley near to new premises in forming a new partnership with owner Dan. We are expanding into second factory to concentrate on some exciting new projects from new and existing customers from offering motorsport body shell preparations and painting, full restomod type car builds, race, rally and custom builds. CoastRacingServices DRS Merch is in process for 2026 this is our first design let me know what you think….we did 5 designs last time with Hype Creative which we hope to do again, this is design 1.

Project 1 Coast Racing Services Cornwall…..

Morris Isis our first CRS project here in Cornwall.
Owner Howard well know Subaru WRC car builder, Tuner and Subaru specialist entrusted us with a full pre show preparation of his much loved Morris Isis, here’s a few pictures of our first full Cornwall CRS job, we’ve hundreds of photos that covers the 9 weeks spent on this amazing little car, it was a huge job, but it went straight to the NEC Classic Car Show and Howard was super happy with our work….

We’ve now got underway some WRC Shells, Historic F1 cars and Dakar project, but would love to chat about any projects we can help with from Shell Prep/Paint to Full car builds going into 2026…. 6000sqft of motorsport and restoration/car build facility being built as we speak…. Exciting times….
