Siggi came over from Iceland and booked in a morning in the Mk2 Es**rt and Subaru. He owns a Polaris that he has for fun and races. He drove so well, understanding rally techniques and put them into practice on the gravel stage. Really listening to his tutor and making the most of the knowledge received. We hope this has helped you with your Polaris driving in some way. Go for it Siggi. Thanks for visiting us as it was a great pleasure showing how it's done rally style.

Maremilia attended a 2 day residential course and BARS test for a junior rally licence. Travelling from school in Scotland and family and best friend over from Germany. Her father, (Maltec) has competed in WRC in a Subaru between 2007 and 09 and to include motorcycle racing. Maremilia showed her knowledge she gained from her father and also from other sports she does including desert buggy racing, gymnastics and water skiing. Mark her instructor said,"she is so mature as a 14 year old with a great sense of humour. She was a delight to teach and handled the cars very well. We used both rear wheel drive and 4 wheel drive. The family's intention is to get a rally car and come back for some more practice and tuition! I can not wait for this as she is fun to teach and learns extremely fast, with a great understanding of car control on a rally stage. Well done for handling this extreme weather we have had, it was tough." Thank you for coming to London Rally School and good luck in your future in motorsport, we will be looking out for you.

Eric, back again from Malta having done a full day's 1 to 1 rally tuition back in June last year. This time completing 2 days of the residential 1 to 1 tuition. Eric stuck with the rear wheel drive Es**rt wanting to really get to grips moving the car around to include his favourite manoeuvre -the Scandinavian flick. Mark his instructor said ''he was now flying and putting in some great times. Handling the car very very well and is sure he will drive his own MK 1 Es**rt much faster on track (autocross), now he knows how! Eric had mentioned that he was nervous of the British weather as rain was forecast. Well it did rain but now knowing how to get grip, he could put his nerves behind him. Well done Eric, you did REALLY GREAT.
Thanks again for coming, it was great to see you back at LRS!

Time for some much needed maintenance on rally stage at LRS. Things were going well until mid January then the constant downpours have taken their toll on the site. Lots of deep potholes and standing water have caused damage to the track surface. We have been busy digging out the affected areas and filling with 150 tonnes of new aggregate. Now we just need some dry weather to let the new surface set. Anyone that had been postponed, please bare with us and we will be up any running once again very soon

Matthew and Matt flew from Jersey to Gatwick today, then made the journey to LRS via Motorsport Uk in Bicester to collect their rally starter packs. Both passed their BARS theory and practical, then back to Gatwick to fly home for dinner! Good luck driving your first stage rally guys!
