2nd outing of the year for the M&M Motorsport clio at Anglesey, big bang on the 1st session was found to be a lost bolt on the rear caliper, managed to replace bolt and get out for a few afternoon sessions, car performed faultlessly, we were blessed with good weather at the very pretty track tucked away in north Wales, we look forward to returning!

Following the blowout at Snetterton due to extremely high side walls on the current DMac tarmac rally tyre set up we ‘adjusted’ the Inner wheel arch for more clearance, with seam lip shaped inwards and then repainted to protect.
Also nitrons adjusted to increase ride height by 10mm again for more clearance, which is only a temporary adjustment until we change to a more track focused tyre set up.

First track outing of the year at Snetterton for the M&M Motorsport Clio 197, was gaining pace and improving session on session and generally having a great day, unfortunately the last session before lunch ended in a blow out due to too much compression on the nearside in the last long right hand corner before the pit straight, allowing the tyre to be cut open by the inner arch, lucky no damage was done to the car or the radical that was close by!
This will be taken up with the company that did the Geo/corner weighting.
All in all a good day out :-)

Decided to let our built track car see the light of day for the first time this year ☀️
Time to start thinking about track prep for the season ahead, with some further rear axle mods, weight reduction and tuning planned - watch this space!

Unfortunately this bus was a bit big to fit in the garage but still sorted a few issues on this Q7 following an MOT fail...

Unfortunately this bus was a bit big to fit in the garage but still sorted a few issues on this Q7 following an MOT failure, also sorted and further advised on an ongoing brake issue and finally a full major service, fully MOT’d and ready for another year of family duties 🙂
