It is with a very heavy heart and after much consideration we have made the tough decision to close Treads Motorcycle Academy.

There are a number of factors for this, the main being the loss of our training ground. Unfortunately, after Beverley leisure centre were successful with a grant bid and planning permission to use the MUGA (our current training ground) for an outside gym.

After exploring several other options for another suitable area, we have approached businesses, local village halls, private property, East Riding council and military sites, and have consistently been hit with a brick wall which has led to this very emotional decision.

We can honestly say, this has been an incredible journey, watching the business grow and become so successful in the last 5 and a half years is more than we could’ve ever have hoped for (even the lows and a global pandemic! 😂) However, it wouldn’t have been as successful without all of your support.

Thank you so much to everyone that has trained with us, referred someone, given us a review, recommended Treads and been part of the Treads journey!

We will continue to train those that are booked in and book in the occasional CBT up until the end of the month but unfortunately we will not be able to deliver anymore ‘big bike’ training as I wouldn’t be able to guarantee to get you through your test.

First up was Kyle cracking his Module 1 in Scunthorpe followed by the 3 amigos smashing their Module 2 tests in York
