Have you ever wondered what it's like to walk through a sea of sunflowers? No? We aren't surprised because it's not something you come across every day.

As it's the school holidays (again) I have visited Floors Castle so that I can give you my honest review! Let me tell you - it wasn't a hardship.

The sunflower maze is just a field of joy, the cafe is something else and the gardens are equisite. I didn't get into the castle but it's definitely on our visiting list now. The grounds are immaculate and it's really great value for money with a day ticket costing just £10 for adults and children free, but, get this, a day ticket lasts a week so you can return time and again. Dogs are welcome on the grounds but not in the maze, so please bear this in mind.

As we're sure our owners across our parks are aware we love to support and work with local businesses and of course, sourcing some discounts for our owners to thank them for their loyalty to our local businesses.

We are delighted to let all of our owners know that Heatherslaw Light Railway are now offering our owners a 10% discount on a return ticket, and we are so excited.

The railway doesn't only run through the summer so this isn't a limited time deal, this is a year round deal.

All you have to do to make use of the discount is pop into reception and pick up your owners discount card. The card has a QR code that will be scanned and it is one coupon per customer. If you enjoy the trip as much as we think you will then pop in for another for another discounted trip.

We want to share an event that is new to Floors Castle this year. It's something something that all the family can get involved in, and if not family, then why not have that overdue meet up with friends and do something a little different?

Or, if you're more of a challenge your own goals sort of person - great - still go along.

With either a 2.5k or a 5k option of bouncing, climbing, sliding and laughing there's a course for everyone.

It doesn't have to be serious or competitive, not unless you want it to be that is, and you won't get more beautiful grounds.

What a treat...

We have all of the outside team at Ancroft today carrying out some maintenance work and sprucing things up - including our Pemberton Parklane that we have for sale.

Here's Arlene, who is chief in charge of the pressure washer. She's finished the Parklane and now she's onto the outside area of our facilities.

The other three are down in the field doing sound maintenance works there.

Worth the walk this morning.

Did you know that Berwick’s three bridges tell a story of how the town has stayed connected through the centuries – from the historic Old Bridge, built in the 1600s, to the iconic Royal Border Bridge carrying trains across the Tweed today.

Only a short drive and you're there. We cut it short but the walk around the full walls is definitely something that you should do if you haven't already.

✨ Saturday 13th June ✨

The weather is till looking on our side for Lowick Village Fete which is happening tomorrow. You don't have to live in Lowick to go along and enjoy the day, the company and the atmosphere. It really is a fantastic day, and such a superb traditional village event.

☀️ Bank Holiday Weekend + Sunshine = Perfect Park Days! ☀️

It looks like the weather gods are finally being kind to us this Bank Holiday weekend… and we are READY for it, and we know you will be too!

To all our lovely seasonal pitch holders and static caravan owners — dust off the BBQs, get the outdoor chairs out, pour something cold and enjoy your home-from-home in the sunshine. The lazy days are so much better when the sun is out.
