Suzuki swift hybrid in for a full service and inspection earlier this month .

A lot of Customers ask us what’s included in a

FULL SERVICE

A full service for a hybrid vehicle generally includes everything that would be done on a conventional petrol or diesel car, plus inspection of hybrid-specific components. The exact items vary by manufacturer and garage, but a comprehensive service typically covers:

Engine and Fluids

* Replace engine oil and oil filter
* Check and top up:
* Coolant (engine and, on some hybrids, inverter/electrical system coolant)
* Brake fluid
* Windscreen washer fluid
* Transmission fluid (inspection; replacement if due)
* Check for fluid leaks

Hybrid System Checks

This pristine 2003 Older Mercedes c class was brought in to us after the customer complained of Fumes smelling in
the inside of the car.

After some checks we noticed an injector seal had failed .
We fitted a new injector seal and clean off the excess gunk and build if of diesel around the injector area .

We then had a Very happy customer and nice smelling car inside again .

We had this customers Peugeot 5008 in for heavy steering last week.
After our diagnostic check we found the vehicle had no communication with the steering module ECU .

After some more in depth checks on checking wiring we found the CAN wiring to the steering module ECU and ECU had high resistance causing no communication .

We replaced the CAN wiring to resolve this and car is now back to the customer working as it should
