Great to see an act of kindness by the cab driver being acknowledged

Just started the 13 hour Foyle Maritime Festival shift and already have Another great story from the City.

Taxi 🚕 pulled up to the station as we were cycling out the gate. Lovely older lady in the back suffering with Dementia with no idea how to get home. Taxi man with kindness and patience without limits drove her round before having to come to us. With our combined skills we managed to get hold of a daughter. Our Taxi hero drove her over to a waiting Sunday Lunch.

When I mentioned the Income 💵 he has lost he dismissed me instantly saying that he couldn’t consider leaving her and that he hoped someone would treat his mother the same
