I wonder how many of you follow this famous worldwide rock and roll band 🤔

I wonder how many of you travel the country to see this band because let’s face it , after all they’re one of the famous top worldwide bands of the rock and roll circuit !!

It is without a doubt THE FIREBIRDS 😎. However , their one journey came to an end quicker than they were expecting due to a poorly engine 😫.

So Jim knowing me as a mechanic , sent this van from Bristol all the way to Derbyshire for me to get my hands onto it 😃 I must have a really high reputation to see vehicles coming from all over the country to me , that’s a big thing! Having a good reputation is a massive key part in this trade and it makes me proud of how far I’ve come.

But the story doesn’t end there 😔. After getting under the bonnet and using elimination methods , it wasn’t long before we found the fault and went in with the inspection camera. Turns out number one injector has a failed spray pattern and jetted a hole into the piston 😫. So with the tools down , it’s time for this poorly van to go back to where the injectors were fitted last year due to warranty.

So as we say : Ta-Raaa a bit 👋🏻.

One of , if not the worst 4 injectors I’ve removed from a vivaro. These were completely rotten and leaking diesel through the corrosion 😳, almost like how you’d find a car that’s been by the sea all its life. However , it’s about the 20th set I’ve done 😅 so wasn’t an issue to get this back to perfect for another happy customer😃😎. I’ve attached 15 photos to show how bad these can be. Enjoy the photos 👍🏻. Vans now perfect and another customer over the moon 😊👌🏻
