Due to new contracts we are now looking for
🔧Qualified Mechanic
🛞 Tyre fitter
🤓 Second year apprentice

Mechanic should have their own tools and be able to work on their own initiative to diagnose and fix a wide selection of cars and vans. They should have their own license and be able to work in a clean, punctual environment Monday to Friday from 0800-1700. Uniform will be supplied

Tyre fitter should have a clean license, and be comfortable fitting all types all car and van tyres. Working in our busy Tyre depot and in our mobile tyre van, working hours are 0800 -1700 with over time available through call outs. Uniform will be supplied.

2nd year apprentice should be able to drive and have a desire to improve their mechanical knowledge, be tidy and punctual. This position can lead to a permanent job.

Due to the gaining of new contracts, we require a workshop/mobile Tyre fitter.

The role:

As a Mobile/Workshop tyre technician you won’t just ‘be there’ for our customers travelling to them to help in their hour of need. You’ll be a welcome sight to both retail and club customers. Receiving the day’s jobs through your PDA device, you’ll be taking care of everything from puncture repair to Tyre fitting. You will work with the occasional after hours call out and some weekend work. You will help out in the service centre during quiet periods and start your day from there.

Salary dependant on experience

Uniform supplied

Skills & experience: At least one year tyre fitting experience. All other training will be given

Striking that balance as a Mobile Technician requires a special skill set including:

• The kind of basic mechanical/vehicle knowledge that puts customers at ease

• Strong customer service skills and customer rapport

• Excellent route planning skills

• Current driving licence • Fluent English, spoken and written

• Experience in driving a large van

• Good time management skills

• A methodical approach to problem solving

• Be physically fit to lift and move Tyre's and Batteries

* A team player who can work on their own initiative, can keep an eye on stock.
