Quality Oil and Filter supplied and installed.

Service book updated.

This vehicle had a DPF delete someone left DPF in.

DPF cleaned. Replaced and ECU returned back to stock.

Test driven. All faults gone.

Mercedes Sprinter Recovery Truck needing a little lift in power as when laden is finding getting away and hills a bit of a challenge.

Power steering rack adapted and basic settings initiated for a passat CC that was second rack installed for a customer following a faulty first rack.

Customer had to leave this with us whilst he waited for a delivery for a SECOND rack he was made to pay for whilst they awaited the return of the rack from us.

Then delivery driver decided 4 days in a row customers house was too far away so dodged him with no reason and left him without a clue what was happening.

Anyway new rack arrived. It worked 💪 but steering angle light and traction and tpms lights light.

Combination of physical movements in correct sequence as well as using our diag tool which effectively has VCDS channels built in to finish the job.

Golf GTD came to us originally for a tune. We unfortunately found there was mechanical issues and a nasty knocking sound that caused us to refuse this vehicle.

Customer has mechanical repairs carried out under warranty including the replacement of a heater matrix and flushing of the cooling lines and brought it back to us.

Customer now wanting us to find the cause of a knocking under load fault.

No fault codes though 🤔

Decided to inspect the file as it seemed to be above stock on test drive and yes it had been tuned prior to his ownership.

Returning vehicle to factory stock with most up to date file, low and behold knock gone, customer contacted me to let me know the car is driving great again. No noticeable loss in power and driving as it should do.

Afternoon yesterday in MiniWorld visiting the MiniMan to carry out some work on a Mini for him with an EGR fault requiring an EGR solution.

All done, in an out in under 40mins.

Pre blanked by the wizard himself. Making process pretty straightforward.

Oh and the diagnostic part even simpler. There is no one who knows these bmw 1.6d and 2.0d engines better than this man.

He eats, sleeps, and sh*ts BMW/minis 🤣

Arrived 3.50pm
ECU off 4.00pm
File read and written back 4.30pm
ECU reattached, started and test driven 4.40pm

What a few days, struggling to keep up with social media with the addition of AutoFix to the AutoTune family.

Astra J clutch replacement where we came in 200 pounds under the best quote.

We found box to be empty, clutch plate to be worn we opted for better clutch as well.

Found a free ratchet from last garage 🤣 attached the the exhaust! Which was the knock customer also heard.

Identified coolant leak at thermostat housing.

Replaced clutch, added new gearbox fluid and sent that on its way.

Several AdBlue faults across Mercedes Sprinter van, a Mercedes GLC, and a former NHS emergency Ambulance box sprinter heading for export.

Few more in between as well. Losing track and my mind ha

But wrapping up for the weekend to start fresh Monday.

Last couple of days have been hellish, with one particular job taking much longer than anticipated.

But. With experience comes patience and tenacity and I will not give up until the job is completed!

So recap of what we have been doing yesterday and today!

✔️Toyota RAV4: 👨‍💻👨‍🔧 Egr delete and Blank and exhaust work for blown fire rings

✔️Audi SQ5: 👨‍💻 Tuned to Stage 3 with hybrid Turbo added and 4bar map sensors added following previous tune!

✔️Audi Q5: 👨‍🔧 Rear discs and pads

✔️Sprinter: 👨‍🔧👨‍💻EGR delete and EGR blank following a stuck open EGR causing loss of power and choking of the engine causing excessive smoke.

✔️Berlingo: 👨‍💻👨‍🔧DPF solution following additive fluid running dry and preventing correct regenerative process.

✔️Peugeot Partner: Fuel leak found and repaired.
