The iconic GC8 chassis now fully treated and freshly painted.

For this build we stayed true to Subaru heritage, finishing it in the legendary RA-R Yellow. Every surface has been carefully prepared, protected, and refinished to ensure the highest standard of durability and detail.

The engine bay and chassis have now been completed and are currently curing before we move on to the outer body. Jobs of this scale demand patience, precision, and a meticulous approach and we wouldn’t do it any other way.

A huge amount of work goes into bringing a classic back to this level, and we take real pride in doing it properly.

This stunning Subaru Impreza Spec C left us 10 years ago with our signature Hurst Cars underbody Waxoyl treatment applied.

Fast forward a decade… and it’s back with us again.

After carefully removing the Waxoyl, the results speak for themselves. The chassis has stood the test of time exactly as we’d expect. Over 20 years of selling and preparing these cars has taught us one thing that proper rust protection isn’t an option, it’s essential.

Seeing this Spec C return in such incredible condition is proof that our underbody treatment truly works.
